From the top with a few food pairing ideas 😍
💥Fennel: I chew on toasted fennel seeds after every meal but also great in tea, on roast chicken or fish and with potatoes and okra!
💥Carom seeds: Amazing with fried foods like veggie fritters or as a base for a veggie stir fry.
💥Cayenne: Good on everything in my world especially mango and guava yum! Also life changing on chocolate ice cream.
💥Black pepper: Great on everything! Freshly ground is best.
💥Cardamom: A must in oatmeal, chai, pancakes, muffins and chicken curries. Banana bread without cardamaom is no longer an option.
💥Turmeric: So versatile! Love it as golden mylk even though I hated that concoction as a kid. Also great on popcorn and in savory oats!
💥Coriander seeds: Delicious crushed on salads or roast chicken. Perfect in lentil soups and tacos!
💥Cumin: amazing with beets or on sunny side up eggs!

Wir sind dann mal am Grill und wünschen euch einen schönen Abend 😊
🍃Catalan Spinach🌱If you don’t like spinach, try this recipe. If you’re already a fan, you will LOVE this even more. Omit the chili flakes to keep it more authentic or dare to be different like me 😉🙃🌶
🍃Soak 2 tbsp golden raisins in warm water for about 10 minutes then drain and dry in a kitchen towel
🍃Sauté 4-6 cloves very thinly sliced garlic in 1/4 cup olive oil on medium heat until fragrant but not brown
🍃Add a pinch of chili flakes and stir for 30 seconds or so
🍃Add 6 cups baby spinach leaves and sauté until wilted about 5 minutes
🍃Add the raisins and 2 tbsp of toasted pine nuts and cook for a couple minutes until well mixed
🍃Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve right away with a few more chili flakes if you like a bit more heat which FYI is delicious contrasted with the sweetness of the plump raisins 🥰

It makes me so happy to organize spices. These are clear spice jars from @bedbathandbeyond (with stainless steel lids) and labeled by me 🙋🏻♀️ with a @sharpie paint pen. Also wrote expiration in the bottom of the jar 🌶 #GetOrganized#Spices#Organization
Me encanta organizar especies en envases iguales. Estos son de vidrio con tapa de acero y etiquetada con un marcador de pintura blanco. Y por debajo le puse la fecha de vencimiento #Organízate#Especies
Magical spices ✨✨✨
Not only are many spices safe for your baby to consume, many also have wonderful nutritional benefits. Some are even used in parts of the world for medicinal purposes.
Just a ‘pinch’ of spice can also totally transform & elevate an otherwise bland meal. Here are a few of our favorite.. Asaphoetida ✨
Flavor: pungent, onion-like
Uses: digestive aid, colic
Pairings: lentils, rice, fish, beans
🌱We use this amazing spice in our ‘Indian Khichdi’ (a first food in the Indian subcontinent)
Aroma: earthy, warm, gingery
Flavor: faintly citrus, peppery
Uses: digestive aid, gas, increased milk supply
Pairings: eggplant, chickpeas, lamb, mushrooms
🌱we use it in our ‘Turkey chili’ (it is a wonderful
additional to greens & fruit!) -
Type: sweet or savory
Aroma: assertive, warming
Flavor: fruity, bitter, sharp
Pairings: apples, beet, cabbage, pumpkin
🌱we use it in our ‘pear, date & quinoa porridge’
Type: sweet or savory
Aroma: fresh & warming
Flavor: deep, woody, bittersweet
Uses: digestive & sleep-aid
Pairings: apple, carrot, chicken, spinach, sweet potato
🌱we use it in some of our fresh, ready-to-serve jars ie. ‘Apple & blueberry crumble’
Nothing beats that new carb smell. 🍞
We prepare and bake our own Kesra bread in-house and season it with ethically sourced nigella and mint. 🌿
The nigella spice has an oregano-like quality with a warm, toasted-onion flavor. This spice is mostly native to the Mediterranean region, and traces of it have been found in King Tut's tomb for its preservative and healing powers. 👑✨

Heavily influenced by the subtle flavor and heat of several Mexican chiles this is not considered a smoking hot rub but features deep complexities that one would expect from the smoky flavor of Chipotle Chiles, the mild fruity flavor of the Ancho Chile and the earthy sweetly mild flavor of the New Mexico Chile. This full body rub is spectacular on grilled chicken and we have also found great success with it on skirt steaks when used as a fajita seasoning and it is heavenly on chicken wings. 👍⠀
We Love using our Chipotle Rub on Buffalo Wings, Grilled Chicken, Hamburgers and Steak. The Flavor is very deep and earthy without a lot heat. It pairs Very Well with Select Savory Seasonings Smoked Sweet Paprika too. 😍 ⠀
