Don’t sell your self short due to age!! She goes sweetheart, you can’t be no more than 25 years old TOPS! I could never!! My reply, I will be 30 in a few days. It’s all in your mindset. If you want to achieve something, you go for it! Don’t let nothing or no one stop you. Go have an amazing workout this morning!! 👏🏼 She walks away and said, well..... I don’t want it bad enough but you look great. Thank you-

YOU DO HAVE CONTROL AND YOU MOST DEFINITELY HAVE THE POWER to achieve anything and everything you want in life. It simply comes down to how bad you actually want it! Never be discouraged or taken back by other people’s success when you too can be at the top!   • JE SUIS ENFIN EN COUPLE! J’ai trouvé le mec idéal. 🥰 J’avais le choix entre trois gars depuis un moment.. Le passé, le futur et le présent. J’ai pesé le pour et le contre. Liste oblige.👇🏽 _____________________________________________________________ Le passé, c’est un bon pote, on a grandit ensemble, j’ai appris de mes erreurs avec lui, il est là pour me construire mais.. Parfois on s’embrouille, c’est à ce moment là qu’il me rappelle ce que j’ai perdu, me rends triste, nostalgique, fait peur, me change. En plus en passant.. Il est rarement là. 🙄😂 ______________________________________________________________ Le futur, c’est vraiment un BOGOSSE ! 😍 Mais je l’ai jamais vu.. 😂. Pourtant je me l’imagine merveilleux, mes pensées sont trop forte 😏. J’aimerais vraiment « réussir » avec lui.. Generally, when someone says that something is “the best” it means that it’s the best for them. It doesn’t mean that it’s the best for you. If your buddy has been training for 10 years and you’re just starting out, his workout plan probably isn’t going to be ideal for you. Your goals, experience, free time, injuries, diet, stress level, sleep quality etc will determine the best workout split/routine for you

This graphic gives you a starting point. If you can commit to 4 days a week then and upper and lower day twice a week each is a great place to start 👍🏼

If you are just starting out then start SLOWLY. Try 2x a week at first and then (if you’ve been consistent) add another day each month. Do not start at 7 days/per week and miss half of them - you’ll lose motivation and the amount of discipline required for that level of effort will be too demanding and you’ll give up. You are not only training your muscles but also your ability to self discipline yourself 🧠 - Once you can master that then you will be in great shape for the rest of your life 😉

  • Ok so I have debating whether to let there be sound or not in this video, because I make some pretty weird noises. But I was like ugh screw it though because this is actually what work sounds like. I ended up doing 225 lbs x 10 reps with full ASS to GRASS form. I weigh in at 195 lbs right now, so yes this is above bodyweight, but in the actual grand scheme of themes this isn’t even an impressive lift, I most definitely could have done 15-16 reps in total but I don’t possess the anaerobic capacity and pain tolerance, but yet I don’t really give a shit. Because I actually don’t personally know many people who have ass to grass mobility with 225 lbs x 10. Side note: I put plates underneath my heels to ensure proper form and ease the dorsiflexion range of my ankle. This looks pretty hard as you can tell from my strangled moans towards the end, but that’s what squats are, really fucking hard. Dope thing is, I don’t even regularly squat, I actually forget to lift legs sometimes, which is once a week lmao, but my methods have made my joints so elastic and strong I can always somewhat put up weight. Maybe I’ll get my shit together and get 315x10 by next December?   • En fjärdeplats på lag-SM för oss herrar i klassiskt styrkelyft (med andra ord kom vi sist av de som tävlade). Inte böjt över 120 kg sedan DM och fick veta i måndags att jag skulle köra. Så under alla omständigheter är jag väldigt nöjd med min insats 😃.
Serien blev: 197,5 - 115 - 210 kg. Fick inget omförsök i marken för domarna/juryn tyckte inte att det var halt. De skyllde på mina egna skor istället. Visst visst, men jag har aldrig ramlat på träning med en vikt och då har jag samma skor 🤷‍♂️. Jag är absolut inte bitter eller sur, jag tycker bara det är så jobbigt att det ska vara golvet som spelar roll när det enbart känns halt på tävlingarna. (Att det är halt beror på att andra använder babypuder och sedan blir det suboptimalt städat mellan varje lyftare). Men oavsett så har alla samma förutsättningar och jag får köpa nya skor helt enkelt 🤷‍♂️. Jag känner mig okej med utkomsten av dagens tävling. .

  • Look closely.  The Athlete is connected to the loading pin using the alternative hook up point.  Connecting behind the load like this emphasizes more posterior chain. When you hinge back with hips to squat, unlike with an anchored to a fixed point belt squat, the pull of the load remains under versus transferring to out in front of the lifter.  If you hook up in the front of loading pin, makes it quad overload.  This is a game changing feature that many do not know about.  #squatmaxmd #beltsquat #patented #squats

  • Tak , udało się wziąć udział w zawodach trojboju siłowego, udało się spełnić moje marzenie 👍 emocje które mi towarzyszyly podczas kolejnych podejść i między nimi są nie do opisania w słowach, jestem bardzo zadowolony z wyjazdu hyhy 👍 co do zajętego miejsca to udało się wywalczyc najgorsze z możliwych czyli czwarte, miejsce którego nie chciałem mieć jednakże z biegiem czasu po kolejnych podejściach dochodziło do mnie że hej , startujesz w najcięższej kategorii z największymi bykami, daj z siebie wszystko 👍 czy dałem? I’m coming at you today with a hamstring & quad focussed leg workout for you to save and try on your next lower body session. As always, thanks to Georgie for the workout🏋🏽‍♀️ I’m no professional and I’m learning every day so any tips/advice on form is always appreciated👀here it goes....
✨Machine seated leg extension 3 sets x 12
✨Barbell back squat (1 set x 15 to warm up) 4 sets x 8-10 reps. I’m aware I’m not hitting depth here, something I’m constantly trying to work and improve on
✨LEG PRESS TO GOBLET SQUAT SUPERSET x 3 sets
💫Machine leg press (close stance) 12 reps *I am not fully locking my knees, it may looks like it but I promise I’m not
💫Kettlebell goblet squat 5 regular squats, 5 squats with a 3 second hold then 5 regular squats (15 reps in total)
✨Barbell straight leg Romanian deadlift 3 sets x 12, 8, 6 reps upping the weight every time🔥
✨Machine seated leg curl 2 sets x 10 reps (3:1 tempo - 3 second count on the eccentric {way up} 1 second count on the concentric {way down}) ✨Dumbbell walking lunge 2 sets x 16 EACH LEG - this honestly kills me off😫

  • I was only going to do 5 but semaun said 6 so that’s what we did 🤷🏻‍♀️ so 315x6 
Also semaun got 465 and I’m super super proud of him he’s been working so hard to get his strength up and his progress has been so impressive 💪🏼 we plan on both competing together in March 😁

  • Here are some great ideas from @bretcontreras1 on how to approach a bad training day. Unfortunately, we all have them at some point. Recognizing and knowing what to do will make the difference for your workout!

When I was in my 20’s, whenever I had a crappy workout, I thought it meant I wasn’t training hard enough. So I’d grind out a grueling workout, let my form go down the tubes just to match what I did the week prior, or go for super high reps and possibly hit a PR to fool myself into thinking my training was still on track.

Here’s the deal. You don’t lose strength overnight. When you have a bad day in the gym, it’s because you’re fatigued. It’s a combination of doing too much overall exercise, going too hard in the gym, not sleeping enough, not eating enough, or being too stressed out.

Instead of pushing harder, you need to pull back and allow your body to recuperate. If you do this right away, you’re usually back on track in a couple of days. But if you ignore what your body is trying to tell you, you can compromise your immune system, prevent any positive adaptations from occurring, and turn a minor problem into a chronic issue.

Train smart and hard, not just hard.
