Newly added to my Etsy Shop, a rare Chattoyant Malachite Stalactite segment, and a brown Tourmaline (Dravite) . . Either would make wonderful additions to your Natural Curio / Specimen collection or for your jewelry crafting material. If you wish to see more, a link is posted in my Bio Section here on IG. 💎Thank You💎
The Caves of Artà are located on the coast in the township of Artà, in Cap Vermell. They were formed when the mountain massif where they are located fractured.
The entrance is at a good height, and from it you can enter the vestibule, where countless prodigious, huge stalactites hang from a high vault, while other stalagmites spring up from the ground.
The Column Room has a host of details worthy of admiration, pure natural architecture. And right in the middle of the Sala de la Reina de les Columnas (Queen of the Columns Room) you can see a column 25 metres tall which reaches up to the ceiling. One of the largest rooms is the one called Inferno (Hell), where rocks and formations shape a fantastical mural.
