  • Self love is something I struggle with. I look at myself and say I need to love the skin I'm in but saying and doing are two different things. My weight has been a struggle all my life. I've had my good days and my bad days. Horrible days where I'm my own worst enemy. I find myself still struggling to accept my own skin. I'll keep reaching for my own acceptance and to learn to love my body. Because I want everyone who struggles with self love to finally find that peace and be happy with their own skin. We all see ourselves differently then in the eyes of others.

Al contrario de lo que la gente piensa, su nombre no significa "fáciles", o "para principiantes".
Significa "base fundamental", los cimientos sobre los que construir nuestro progreso hacia los niveles superiores, son las claves esenciales para establecer unas capacidades físicas adecuadas que nos permitirán alcanzar la excelencia y llegar a lo más alto. Pero como todo, estos básicos necesitan SER DOMINADOS, adquirir e interiorizar la técnica de cada uno de ellos, para potenciar los patrones de movimiento, conectar la mente con el músculo, favorecer la sinergia entre distinta musculatura, etc... Si construímos nuestra casa sobre unos cimientos torcidos tarde o temprano se derrumbará.

Hoy día es muy dificil encontrar un atleta que pueda ejecutar a la perfección todos los básicos, incluso entre los "pro" encontramos multitud de errores y algunos incluso bastante clamorosos... Todo debido a esa especie de "desprecio" que se genera hacia los básicos como si fueran "poco importantes" cuando en realidad son los REYES entre los ejercicios, por sus características y sus beneficios.
Pero este es un deporte joven, donde van a aparecer nuevas generaciones que han empezado haciendo las cosas bien, sin prisas, y cuando estén preparados, nadie les podrá hacer sombra.
Por eso luchamos.

Now that the weather is improving I just want to get out and explore. I'm not going to lie i have completely let myself go since having Memphis 10 months ago. I have gained a good 40lbs and I'm ready to be back in shape, but it's so hard when I HATE working out. I much prefer getting my exercise the old fashion way. Getting outside, Working in the yard, going for a run... anything other than gyms and workout dvd's 🙄

I did a quick workout DVD today and although it totally kicked my butt, it just wasnt as satisfying as a good walk/run/hike/bike outside! It's 10 degrees here today and I am anxiously watching the snow turn to mud outside. Come on spring! I'm ready for ya!

  • that was dinner. usually one of my faves but today it destroyed me. I've never binged before but I gulped down all of this (that's a deep bowl believe me) in... 20 mins??? like whaaaat. I hope I feel better tmrw. at least I ate really early so I didn't have to worry about eating for the rest of the day and I can do IF longer

  • this day was crazy. it could've went worse tho  even if idk how but for most parts I tried to act normal. eating brunch and dinner before sitting in the car for 2,5hrs was a pain tho!! I literally stuffed my face bc I was so anxious of what's ahead and I wanted to be finished at the time at which dad wanted to depart. the smoothiebowl wasn't a big deal apart from ocd but dinner killed me w Kimchi Bokkeumbap. spicy kimchi fried rice w an ENTIRE jar of kimchi and added sauerkraut! my mouth was partly on fire and now at 10pm I'm still digesting what I ate 10hrs ago. other than that dad and I only explored the village and walked a lot but the later it got the more my mood dropped also bc it's a bit colder here. the house is lovely but I don't feel "at home" and the absence of my usual routine makes me feel empty. I have no purpose and no goals to achieve, idk what I'm gonna do at which time and idek how to handle meal times that's gonna be the worst!

  • Nobody tells you about the bad bits of pregnancy, yes I’ve had morning sickness in all my pregnancies but this...This is something completely different 😫 I feel like I’ve hit a brick wall. I’m on my 4th type of anti sickness meds and they’re no longer working. The sickness gets less each day when they work and then out of nowhere they just stop working 😫 So here I am throwing up every single thing I eat again. Not only am I vomiting throughout the day, I’m waking at 3am to vomit my empty stomach up...yup bile. Somebody please, tell me a way through it!!!! The progress is hard, but rewarding.

It’s teaching.

Your past struggle is your future strength.
•
You have to learn the lessons, before you can be the teacher.

This is true for every struggle.

You’re someone’s Savior just learning how to save.
