Wow 40k! 😍 Last July I converted my personal IG account to a study gram. I decided to start a study gram account while I was studying for NCLEX-RN (Nursing Licensure Exam) to keep myself motivated. I never would have thought that one year later I’d have 40 thousand people following my account. 😱 You all are truly amazing and I appreciate all your comments, messages and support. ❤️ I have a few of my favorite desk set up/study items that I’d like to give away. To enter just follow these simples rules:
🌸Must be following me and @garmaguard 📲
🌸Must live in the USA 🇺🇸
🌸Must be 18 +
🌸Comment why you started following my account and like this photo
Thats it! Giveaway ends Tuesday, August 27th and I will announce the Winner Wednesday, August 28th ❤️
Do you ever wonder what happens after the doctors say, "I'm really sorry, there's nothing more we can do"? What happens when the patient goes home, and has to come to terms with their prognosis, knowing they have weeks, months to live. I wonder how I would handle it, having to come to terms with my own mortality. It can't be easy... and that's the understatement of the year. .
There's a fine line between being hopeful in a way that helps the patient and the family cope... and pure denial. It's a difficult line to discern, though - who's to say what's healthy and what's not? I'll hear family members smiling and saying, 'Yes, when you get better, we'll go waking along the beach again.' When. Not 'if.' I don't have the heart to chime in with statistics detailing the terrible outcomes of whatever lethal diagnosis is in the background - it's not my place. And so I watch and listen, quiet.
I've noticed a trend in people with terminal illness: they'll do anything. And their families, too, will do anything. They'll try all the super foods, take all the vitamins, invest in tons of immune-modulating supplements, experiment with little gadgets proported to cure the disease...who's to say it doesn't help? I stand by and I watch this play out, not for the first time, and I don't say anything. Who am I to say that the miracle drug or gadget won't work? . .
What if it does? . .
But deep down, the skeptic in me knows it won't. So I just stay quiet. .
If you've experienced something similar and want to talk about it but don't want to leave a comment, send me a DM. . . . #studygram#studyaccount#studyinspo#studyspo#studyinspiration#medstudent#medstudentlife#medlife#medicalschool#medicalstudent#medicinegoals#medschoollife#clinicalrotation#surgery#clerkship#surgicalrotation#practicingmedicine#premedinspiration#futuredoctor#aspiringdoctor#premed#premedstudent#deskspo#medinspiration#medstudies#futuredoctor#philosophizing#mortality
I was going to post a different quote today but decided on this one.
Two words for this quote: Slow and Steady. Win your race.
Over the years, I realized that people who are working hard toward achieving something personal are always under pressure by other people to achieve something else by the same people who don’t understand what or why you are doing what you are doing. Due to their pressure, you create another pressure for yourself. You want to prove them wrong so quickly that you end up burning out in the process or quitting altogether. My number one tip is, never let anyone’s need pressure you out of your own need. Never let others opinion drive out or outweigh your commitment to stick with what you believe you can do. Never put yourself under unnecessary pressure due to external pressure, be effective with your time, and enjoy the process. Lastly never forget, we are not in a competition against time. Just work with what time you can sincerely afford. Happy weekend everyone 💕👊👌🤗 #neverstoplearning#thefuture#study#stud#studyblr#gogetter#student#hardwork#revision#studying#studyinspiration#mindset#studytime#inspirational#education#workhard#nevergiveup#practicemakesperfect#chaseyourdreams#studygram#college#studymotivation
Here are my note-taking essentials I know a lot of black pens out here , of these I love the energel in in sarasa or muji pen body the most. The notebook I use is usually by @anupam (their 6 subject ring nb) or @mujiindia (paper/nb).
The chem washi thingy is an eraser I dont know if y'all can tell. The pink pen in the left is a pretty good pen I would say from rorito thats as cheap as 5rs. I have all five colours and I couldnt do with out them tbh. .

Eles produzem anticorpos e combatem as infecções.
