  • The Prime 1 Justice League 1/3 scale Cavill Superman arrived!!! Don’t care what anyone says, this is a VERY cool statue in hand! The suit, just like their 1/2 scale version is on top of a chromed under-sculpt which means it looks completely different depending on what light is hitting it. Shiny with a flash, matte without but still picking up highlights. The armpit issue isn’t present on mine. There’s no sagging there at all, it’s glued right up under both arms tight and looks great.
Both head sculpts are impressive in person. Like the 1/2 scale, they’re cast in that flesh resin which is pretty hard to photograph without looking glossy but in person look dynamite with the paint app they’ve applied. I appreciate the head vision portrait but I doubt I’ll be using it on display. The paint app on the face looks very freckled in images but doesn’t appear that way in person.
I love the way they’ve done the suit. Unlike the 1/2 scale which was glued to the body at all the panel line points, this has room to move so you can adjust the arms, boots, bicep areas etc to remove any creases. It’s a nice bright colour too so far more accurate to his look in Justice League. The cape is a similar fabric to the half scale and is super high quality. I’ll need to steam it to get right of all the creases but that’s to be expected.
The walking pose works well for me too....I was a little unsure with preview pics but from almost every angle it looks cool. Powerful, determined and with a lot of presence.
I was curious how it would measure up next to the Hush Superman but this bad boy is 33.1” tall and for me holds its own.
I know several people got theirs without the mother box accessory but mine was definitely in there and is HUGE! A great display piece in its own right.
Please check all the pics and let me know what you think. I know it won’t be for everyone but I’m really happy it’s here! #superman #manofsteel #justiceleague #snydercut #henrycavill #stewmurray47 #prime1studio #prime1

  • Do you think this scene should’ve stayed in the movie? In my opinion it makes Harley's "We're connected" line much more meaningful, and shows Tony being a hero even without his suit.. [Follow @MarvelMovies]

  • The “Superman Building” // 1928 // Beaux-Arts & Art Deco // Known locally as the "Superman Building", the Industrial National Bank Building in Downtown Providence stands as the tallest building in Rhode Island, but has been vacant for nearly 10 years! The building was constructed in 1928 and can be classified as Art Deco in style, but has more Classical detailing, echoing the end of the Beaux-Arts movement. The building was given the nickname "The Superman Building" as residents claimed it looks like the Daily Planet Building in Superman comics (I don't see it). The original was designed by the firm of Stone, Carpenter & Willson, and the building seen here was designed by Walker & Gillette architects, to serve as the headquarters of the Industrial Trust Company, which was founded in 1886. The building was occupied most of its history by the firm who went through a series of mergers and name changes, until Bank of America (the owner as of 1998) moved the offices of the occupant bank to Boston. Just before the economic recession of 2008, the building was purchased by High Rock Development for over $33 million. Tenants began moving out of the building, with the last (a Bank of America office) leaving in 2013.
Stories say that various projects have been envisioned by developers, ranging from demolition, to luxury apartments, with no clear movement in sight. As of February 2020, the University of Rhode Island Providence Campus appears to be interested in occupying at least part of the building. Fingers crossed!

Any additional information from a local would be great!

  • Dk how I feel about this episode lol, I only liked the sue and Ralph storyline and that’s it. Not enough Barry and the iris story was badly written IMO. Cecile is getting on my nerves, Joe is always good. Not enough flash tho it’s annoying and Ik they’re saving money for future episodes but still.
