This is the #HohenzollernPalace#Sigmaringen . Perched on a limestone cliff above the #Danube River on the southern edge of the Swabian Jura the palace is the ancestral seat of the Hohenzollern-Dynasty. The landmark of the city impressively shows the historical development of a medieval castle to a royal residence palace. Like the #HohenzollernCastle , which is found about 50 kilometres northwest, the Hohenzollern Palace is still privately owned and offers tours of its magnificent rooms. In addition, the palace offers one of the largest private weapon collections in #Europe with about 3,000 objects.

Wallfahrtskirche Münster Mariä Geburt
At the foot of the Swabian Alb lies the former monastery Zwiefalten, which was founded in 1089 by the Benedictine monks from Hirsau, raised in 1750 to the imperial abbey and was dissolved by secularization in 1802 by force. Center of the village is the cathedral, built by master builder Johann Michael Fischer and the absolute highlight of the system of the wall pillar church, which was created in Germany.
