The hardest part of the workout is always showing up. We all have those days, where it’s hard to get to the gym but once you get there and start your workout, you crush it.
On those days you don’t want to do it, just say “all I have to do is show up and start” don’t set a time on how long you have to go or distance you have to run. Simply just show up and take action.

MY LEG DAY FAVES 🙌
These are some of my absolute favourite go-to leg and glute staple exercises!🔥
Such classic exercises and yet there are so many ways you can level up with each one by playing around with different tempos, weights and foot placements! .
My absolute favourite glute builder! I really enjoy drop-setting this one - I build my working sets to my max weight and then drop for my final set to fatigue the muscle as much as I can. Not only that, I like to use a cotton band around my knees with a slightly wider-than-hip-width stance to really get my glute medius working too!! .
2️⃣HIGH BAR SQUAT:
Dedicated to growing my quads! Squats are so good for building lower body strength but there are many ways to manipulate stance and foot placement to get specific muscles working. By raising my heels, this variation predominantly focuses on the quads. It also takes a lot of pressure off my ankles and achilles so I can get a real ass to grass squat happening 😏
Seated or lying, leg curls burn and they make my hamstrings cry. I have a strong love-hate relationship with them! Personally, I struggle to find good activation in my hamstrings in general so I have found that reallyyyyyy slowingggg downnnn the tempo and squeezing the muscle really makes a massive difference!! .
Simultaneously a good one for both hammies and your back! This one is another great one for tempo manipulation. Try this tempo: 3 sec eccentric (lowering), 1 sec pause, 1 sec raise (concentric) and then 0 sec pause before next rep. And don’t forget muscle mind connection! I promise it will burn! You’re welcome 😉 .
There are so many variations for this one but my personal favourite is with feet turned out and a pause at the top of the rep. This really hits the vastus medialis or otherwise known at the ‘teardrop’ muscle on your quads.💧 .
Challenge yourself and give these a try!! I promise you’ll be crawling (so probably best to drive to the gym 😂)

That was the toughest run i have ever done! Even with intermittent walking on the inclines and drinking lots of water and eatting chews i cramped with .2 miles to go and ate it. Luckily someone helped me up and i was able to finish strong.
13.1 miles at 2 hrs and 35 minutes with over 2,800' of elevation gain. I conquered my first race, 5 more to go!

I just finished the most intense Bikram Yoga class. My first. Well technically my second, I did one 20 years ago and almost fainted. They say you can burn between 800-2,000 calories i that class! That isn’t hard to believe since my. Clothes and. OkY looked and felt like I jumped into the water.
