I try to take full advantage of different apps on my iPhone that benefit my fitness journey. Here are a few gems I’ve been using this past year. *I’m an iPhone user.✨FitBod - Free (Elite Subscription offered)
My favorite features have to be the quick & detailed video tutorials for each exercise, and how it shows you the different muscle groups you can work on and how - not just upper body, lower body, and abs like most apps. A new workout is automatically generated for you daily as well. There’s always something new to try and many alternatives, you’ll never get bored with it.
✨Activity - Free (For Apple Watch Owners)
Talk about motivation! This app reminds me of my personal Exercise, Move, And Stand goals to reach (rings to complete) for each day. The app even allows you to compete with friends so you get accountability partners without even thinking about it. Reviewing the data collected after workouts can help keep track of your calories burned and your heart rate. Love love love it.
✨MyPlate - Free
This app is very beneficial for tracking and monitoring your carbs, proteins, and calorie intake. The app even syncs to your other apps and your Smart watch to give you awesome data of your fitness journey.
The app even provides a workout plane and weekly shopping list with meal plans.... for freeeeee. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
✨Health - Free (Included w/iOS 8 and later)
The Health app makes it easy to learn about your health and start reaching your goals collecting all kinds of health records all in one place. The Health app highlights four categories: Activity, Sleep, Mindfulness, and Nutrition. (You’d be amazed at the sleep tracker). It pulls information from your other third party apps & your smart watch, and recommends other apps you can use to improve the four main categories.
