This view never gets old! ❤️
The lovely @elossastyle was visiting from NYC so we spent the whole day out wandering around town. We met near the London Eye and walked up to Covent Garden, then Fitzrovia.
I know I always say this but I love this part of the city so much! ✨
This bitch has been through it all.
Need some background? Here’s a quick history lesson - trust me it’s a wild one:
>>> First constructed in 604 AD. 🔨
>>> Burned down in 1087. 🔥 Started reconstruction and renovation but then it went and caught fire again in 1135. Wtf.
>>> Yay we back and rebuilt in 1240 ✌🏻
>>> 1444 we got through a few centuries before freaking lightning went and struck it ⚡️ — which of course, as you can guess, lit St. Paul’s on fire.
>>> Oh but bitch we ain’t done yet... here comes along 1561 and yet again lightning strikes causing a fire 🔥
Now that’s some bad luck. Yet, we luckily still have this beautiful cathedral today and one of my top London landmarks.🙌🏻
All in all, I wanted to conclude this mini series of places with something of hope...
....So, I suppose the moral of the story is, buildings can be rebuilt. It might not be the same as it once was, but it’ll still be there to hold meaning. Thanks for coming to my history lesson 🤓🏛

Thank you very much @_maddddyh for sending me this beautiful picture of a telephone cabin in London. I like the colour contrast from pale off-white stone to the vivid red of the phone booth. I hope your trip to The UK was as remarkable as this photograph. Cheers!🇬🇧 ________________________________________
