We all strive to be champions in our own lives. We aspire to be triumphant in our endeavours and to accomplish all that we set our minds to. However, setbacks are inevitable and failure sometimes get the best of us. 
For years I wrestled with insecurity and a feeling of inadequacy. And in recent months, these feelings were magnified due to life's circumstances.

After working hard to finally find pride in myself, I once again, was given every reason to question my self worth. Uncertain of where my life would go and how I would get there, I felt like I was wandering aimlessly. And then TFW happened....

A fitness program that encourages self development and self acceptance while building one's fitness level-it was perfect. The TFW dojo was a safe place where every individual shared in a communal effort to build unity, respect for others and self, while having fun working out.

Initially, nervous about failing....I now feel pride and excitement to share that I am now a coach at the amazing TFW Sauga. With a team of coaches full of experience, energy, knowledge, drive, and passion for fitness I know my journey to self discovery is far from over. *
From student to coach to owner, TFW exemplifies values of honour, grit, respect, family, self love, and courage. In an effort to "save lives" through fitness, TFW ironically also saved me. *

So proud to be part of a gym and a team that supports one another along each individual's fitness journey. During a TFW 6 Week Challenge, I was lucky enough to work with a hand-picked team full of enthusiastic, determined, resourceful, and vibrant individuals. These ladies and gentlemen have demonstrated and continue to be examples of strength, accountability and persistence. Each team member identified goals centred around fat loss, muscle development, improvement in diet, and a commitment to consistently engage in workouts regularly. As an overall result, they gained a better appreciation for self and hard work and have a better understanding of what it takes to achieve their fitness goals.
So, to our Spiderverse team, thank you for showing Miranda and I the meaning of comradeship and for trusting us enough to be your leaders.

Sometimes we can look at our kids , responsibilities, and past as reasons NOT to take action for what we really want because it feels risky 😬
.

The unknown is scary, this is true. Sacrificing effort and time with the possibility of  failure is what stops most of us from pursuing our dreams and goals🛑
.

Through mistakes and success I have learned you can look at the above factors to not do something or you can look at it for a reason to do 👊🏽
.

I was broke and in debt and chose to start a business. I had a son and chose to work harder and take more risk. I never grew up with my dad but chose to always take care of my son. No one in my family has ever been a millionaire , but I plan to be the first despite my past and help thousands of people on the way 🙌🏽
.

The things that are holding you back are really the things that can push you forward. Your lack of money can be the reason why you make more , your commitment to your kids and family can be the motivator why you transform your health 💪🏽

Take the chance on yourself , your worth it 👊🏽

Before acquiring higher levels of success or simply getting the things we want, we must first see them happen in our mind🧠

What do we want ? How do we want to look ? How do we want to feel , How much money do we want ? are all examples of parts of someone’s vision that should be clear. The clearer the vision the easier it is to create the plan for execution👊🏽

The challenge for most people is when other people don’t see what you see, we start to doubt our vision and most times don’t carry it out

I think  crystallizing your vision and understanding your purpose is the first step to being more successful and living a more fulfilled life

I was tired of NOT having the finances  to take care of my self and my family.

I decided I had to take a risk if I wanted to become more.

  • ‼️TRANSFORMATION TUESDAY‼️

Shout out to our warrior Dora @dee_addotey for her amazing results with our Training for Warriors SAUGA program. In a little over a year Dora has managed to drop 23lbs of fat, 21lbs weight and has lowered her body fat % from an unhealthy 39% to a healthy 29%🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
.

When Dora started her journey 14 months ago she just had her second child and like most moms do had put on some pregnancy weight😞
.

I remember her first day in the program she arrived late and was lost and confused. The warm up was a struggle for her as she felt out of breath and very uncoordinated😓
.

Nonetheless Dora didn’t stop. She kept coming. What at first seemed like a struggle to come 2 days a week turned into excitement and passion to train regularly. Today Dora’s one of the most enthusiastic students we have always dancing and cheering on her peers💃🏿
.

As you can see in her progress photo Dora has added lean muscle to her body while maintaining her figure ⌛️
.

A major reason for this is the improvement in her strength and performance by weight training. From barely completing a warm up to now sprinting, pushups , deadlifting and squats she is the strongest she has ever been 💪🏽
.

On behalf of the #tfwsauga Familia we our very proud of Dora’s transformation from unhealthy to healthy and this year we look forward to her transforming even more from healthy to an even leaner & higher level of fitness 🔥

Naz has been a student at #tfwsauga for 2.5 years and I remember when she did her first test and was thrilled that she did 20. I also remember her being intimidated to join and questioned if she could keep up with the program ☺️
.

In the past Naz had the mindset that she was delicate and fragile. Through consistent training and changing her mindset she now knows she is mentally tough and one of the strongest people she knows 💪🏽
.

Oh yea... and I forgot to mention she’s 52 years old 😮

  • Last week at @tfwsauga we did 5 minutes of war... a global challenge where you do 1 minute of pushups, 1 minute of chinups, 1 minute of sitouts, 1 minute of knee grabs, with 20 seconds of rest in between each... I can't say it was a pleasurable experience.... but I ended up 7th in our gym, and 2nd out of the female students, with a total of 161 reps: 46 pushups, 13 chin ups, 58 sitouts, 44 knee grabs

Congratulations to @shaunamalik_77 for her amazing results with the #tfwsauga program ! Shauna is down 15lbs of fat since becoming a member👏🏽
.

This photo doesn’t do Shaunas results enough justice . Like many students Shauna was shy and did not feel comfortable taking a proper before picture when initially joining. Shauna had never exercised before, was unhealthy with a high body fat % and feared fitness😳
.

Year and a half later Shauna can’t imagine her life with out fitness and #tfwsauga . By consistently training 4-5 days a week for the last 20 months Shauna has replaced fear and insecurity with confidence and determination .

Her performance has significantly improved where in shauna’s first months she could barely perform a body weight squat at depth and finish a workout without feeling nauseous. Now she is performing push ups and key lifts like deadlifts , squats and bench press with great technique🏋🏾‍♀️
.

It’s amazing to see that Shauna is now one of the most passionate students in the class , where coaches can always count on her to bring enthusiasm and positivity. In addition to evolving into more of a vocal leader, Shauna has become an amazing teammate . She knows how it feels to be lost and confused with fitness and goes out of her way to make all new members feel comfortable 🙏🏽

Some people might say that “luck” happens when you are in the right place at the right time. Others might say that luck is discovered when opportunity meets preparation👏🏽

When I was a kid I use to look at wealthy and successful people and think they were so lucky but overtime I have realized with hard work and effort, you often make your own luck👍🏽

Here’s 🍀4 mindset strategies to improve the luck in your life ✋

1) don’t hope for a outcome plan and prepare for it. Understanding exactly what you want to accomplish is the start. Then you must create a detailed plan on how to make it a reality. Without a plan your just hoping for luck 🍀

2) a positive attitude can turn bad situations into good. You can learn from bad luck to improve future luck or you can let bad situations define you 🍀

3) The number of obstacles in our way is not the determinant of luck, rather its about how we deal with those obstacles. Face your challenges head on oppose to avoiding them and notice how much luckier you get 🍀

I’m not smart enough to create powerful quotes but I am smart enough to listen to people with more success then me and apply it to my life !📝

While listening to one of my mentors @lukahocevar speak about business he mentioned “Things are easier then people make them seem but they take longer then what people think”😯
.

For example someone can lose 100lbs if they really want too its been done before but it takes effort , dedication , and time. Another example, someone can become a successful entrepreneur running a million dollar company but it takes persistence, strategy, and time ⏰
.

It’s a mistake most of us make. Get excited or emotional which triggers us to start something, but we either run out of patience or let obstacles stop us from reaching our destination 🛑➡️
.

Today I was reminded about this important advice as I planned to work on upgrades for @tfwsauga Facility for 3 hours but the job took 7 hours 😅
.

Nonetheless the days task got done it was just harder and longer then what I anticipated ✅
.

For the warrior out they’re starting their fitness journey and debating on stopping because results are taking longer then expected . Don’t  stop . Keep working , keep going and little by little with the right amount of invest time you will reach your goal 👏🏽

So proud to be part of a gym and a team that supports one another along each individual's fitness journey. During a TFW 6 Week Challenge, I was lucky enough to work with a hand-picked team full of enthusiastic, determined, resourceful, and vibrant individuals. These ladies and gentlemen have demonstrated and continue to be examples of strength, accountability and persistence. Each team member identified goals centred around fat loss, muscle development, improvement in diet, and a commitment to consistently engage in workouts regularly. As an overall result, they gained a better appreciation for self and hard work and have a better understanding of what it takes to achieve their fitness goals.

    So proud to be part of a gym and a team that supports one another along each individual's fitness journey. During a TFW 6 Week Challenge, I was lucky enough to work with a hand-picked team full of enthusiastic, determined, resourceful, and vibrant individuals. These ladies and gentlemen have demonstrated and continue to be examples of strength, accountability and persistence. Each team member identified goals centred around fat loss, muscle development, improvement in diet, and a commitment to consistently engage in workouts regularly. As an overall result, they gained a better appreciation for self and hard work and have a better understanding of what it takes to achieve their fitness goals.
