I didn't grow up in a religious home, the mindset of my family has always been one of pragmatism I would say.
For example, yesterday when talking to my mamma and her husband it turns out that they don't even believe in life after death. Of course I respect their opinion and there's nothing right or wrong, it's just so far away from my own outlook on life these days.
So, Easter for me growing up has always been about stuffing my face with candy (yes us Swedes loves our candy, I still do 😂) and food and never really given a thought on why we celebrate Easter.
It's only the last couple of years that I've gotten familiar and felt a connection with Jesus/the Christ consciousness and today I'm curious to know what we've built our traditions upon. I would still not necessarily call myself a traditional "Christian" in the way church might label a "good Christian", with all the dogmas etc. coming with it, but yes, I do believe Jesus walked on earth two thousand years ago and that he was a messenger of the divine.
My own experiences with him (the few people I told to about them has probably thought I've gone crazy or delusional, who knows maybe I am..🤷🏼🤣), has been a confirmation of that. His excuberant spirit is one of light and unconditional love and I must admit, while "meeting" him I couldn't also help but thinking "wow, you are such a gorgeous man".. Potential crush? Go big or go home they say! 🤦🏼😂 "Jokes" aside, today on "good Friday", nearly two thousand years ago, Jesus left his earthly body. Instead of focusing on his crucifixation and suffering I would like to highlight what supposedly was among his last words; ➡ "Father, forgive them, for they don't know what they are doing." ⬅
With this, I would like to take the freedom to claim that it can be a good time to focus on something that needs your forgiveness, and perhaps to put awareness on anything that you would like to release, let go or accept (it's fullmoon time as well 😉). Lastly, thank you Jesus for everything you've done and keeps on doing for the healing of humanity, all beings and this planet 🙏💓 #ascendedmasters #jesuschrist #jesuscrush#lightbeing#thankyoujesus

On this Good Friday May we not forget the true meaning of Easter! ✝️ But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we were healed. Good Friday Blessings!
Some say today is a day to mourn. Then why is it called Good Friday? This is the day Jesus willingly gave up his life for his loved ones. You and I.
Some say this is the day we should remember with sorrow and remorse. But if there is one thing I know Jesus has been allowing me to see more and more is that our suffering can be used for a divine purpose. If we allow Him. So if you are out there, if you are suffering, if working hard just isn’t paying the bills, if all the therapy isn’t helping your depression, if all the medication and treatment isn’t healing your illness, if your childhood is still haunting you, are you willing today to look at your suffering as something, dare I say, good?
No matter who you are, or what you have been through, may this Good Friday be a day that you question for once why we see it as “Good” when it was the day an innocent man was beaten and tortured to death, willingly.
Today I thank you Jesus for all the trials you have allowed me to go through. They for sure were hell in the moment, but you allowed that suffering to help me become more and more into the person I long to be. You helped me through them and still are today. May this post be an encouragement for you to be able to say “even in my suffering, God is good.” #thankyoujesus#goodfriday

This is the hope we hold on to - that one moment changed everything for us. Thank you Jesus for the sacrifice you made on the cross so that we might be forever reconciled with God. #easter#thankyoujesus#goodfriday
7 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God.
8 Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.
9 In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him.
10 In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
12 No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us.

Three years ago, I had the opportunity to travel to Israel and Palestine! It was such a beautiful experience but I wish I could have fully grasped the magnitude of everything I saw. I got the chance to walk the exact trail Jesus took as he made His way to Calvary. Right before we got to Calvary, our tour guide pointed to this spot on the wall where Jesus placed His hand to rest because the weight of the cross was so heavy. Today I’m reminded of how much Jesus loves us and how much blood He shed for our sins! #ThankYouJesus Let’s all thank God for sending His Son and let’s take this weekend seriously!! .
Head over to my “Israel/Palestine” Highlights for a snippet of my time in the Holy Land!
It was absolutley clear blue skies just minutes ago and now, on this Good Friday, right about noon, the clouds are coming in. I can't remember a Good Friday when the skies didn't darken from noon until 3. Thank you Jesus for your sacrifice on my behalf #goodfriday#thankyoujesus#blessed
Today we remember the cross. It’s around my neck and on my mind because it changed everything for me. Now, I am RECONCILED and REDEEMED. Now, nothing separates me the the presence of the One who saves and satisfies my soul. No greater love than this! #thankyouJesus@cfpsl

We are grateful today for the sacrifice of Jesus. We pray on this Good Friday you are reminded of the love of Jesus that has no limits. We hope you receive all that the cross represents and as we approach resurrection Sunday that you would find yourself with renewed hope and freedom knowing that Jesus paid the ultimate price for YOU. #GoodFriday#SundayIsComing#ThankYouJesus
