  • One of thousands of little creeks that run through bogs on their way to the ocean in Newfoundland. Captured in L’anse aux Meadows at the northern tip of the Great Peninsula. It doesn't get more north than this on the Rock. #creekside #frozenintime

  • I’ve made it into jasper, and it’s been absolutely unreal so far! The Icefields parkway is so crazy. It’s something I’ve heard so much about, but really can’t even describe how much you need to see it yourself in person! The weather has been rainy and cloudy the whole time, but I’m kind of starting to enjoy it more. Makes for nice moody scenes and now that I am trying to practice more waterfall photography, I’ve found the moody conditions to be very helpful. I can’t wait to explore more of jasper ! Have any favorite spots here ?

  • Ok take this all with a grain of salt 🧂 because I have way more experience traveling in the USA 🇺🇸 then I do Canada 🇨🇦. If you don’t know me, I’ve done a ton of traveling in @visitusaparks @usinterior, and only about a little under a week so far in Canada 🇨🇦 Both places have splendid parks and outdoors magic. I tend to find more animals in Yellowstone then Alberta, but I’m yet to go to the coast of BC which I’ve heard is a wildlife oasis.

There are truly so many places in the USA that are absolutely magical and mind blowing. But so far from my limited time in Alberta and BC the key difference I am seeing is that I almost always feel like I am in a National park here in Canada. One park leads to the next, it’s absolutely wonderful! And they have wildlife bridges for the animals ❤️ so magnificent, I hate seeing the animals get killed on the roadside in the US. Ok I’m off to jasper , then back to banff , and more BC for a few days too, and will update you on more of my thoughts from this magical land 🌲

  • I haven't been posting much this summer because I'm having way too much fun and keeping busy in the best ways that aren't in front of a computer. But I have a minute today (after an amazing day at work), so here's a common loon with a shiner perch for #fridayfeathers

I was lucky enough to catch Aurora during 6 nights on this trip. Never have I been so sleep deprived on a hike!
