Ever felt the loneliness
killing your soul?
Ever felt the brokenness
reminding you of your whole?
Ever felt alien
as if you are playing someone's role?
Ever felt lifeless
as if existing is your only goal?
Weren't you trying to be yourself
all this while?
You had no reason
to even force a smile,
You craved for bliss
for over miles and miles,
Until you gave up
and stopped for a while.
You felt the world
ignoring your presence,
You felt the sun
burning down your essence,
You felt the mirror
reflecting your absence,
You felt yourself
and it all started making sense.
You knew you were the wind
that could turn into a storm,
You knew you were the sun
that could blaze in it's most divine form.
You knew you were the moon
that could dictate itself to reform,
You knew you were the universe
that could expand and transform.
You were the star
obscured by the clouds
You were the silence
which screamed out loud,
You were the god
to which even the universe bowed,
You were the northern star
among the billions in the crowd.🙏

Remember the sky that you were born under,
know each of the star’s stories.
Remember the moon, know who she is.
Remember the sun’s birth at dawn, that is the
strongest point of time. Remember sundown
and the giving away to night.
Remember your birth, how your mother struggled to give you form and breath. You are evidence of her life, and her mother’s, and hers.
Remember your father. He is your life, also.
Remember the earth whose skin you are:
red earth, black earth, yellow earth, white earth
brown earth, we are earth.
Remember the plants, trees, animal life who all have their tribes, their families, their histories, too. Talk to them, listen to them. They are alive poems.
Remember the wind. Remember her voice. She knows the origin of this universe.
Remember you are all people and all people
Remember you are this universe and this
universe is you.
Remember all is in motion, is growing, is you.
Remember language comes from this.
Remember the dance language is, that life is.

The progression of a sunset
Since I was little there has always been an aspect of the aky that draws me to see its beauty. If just for a moment capturing this stillness for a moment to breath and remember is going to be alright. I like to think there is an incredible artist up above who can paint the skies with intension each day so much so that he is watching and working on us too. 💛Just a reflective post to stop and say thank you for doing things in your time because truly you make all things beautiful in your time.
In the Fort Mill area, I've worked at 3 different fitness studio's and have gone to at least 7 others. This week I started at Burn Boot Camp-Tega Cay and have really enjoyed it; great instructors, workouts and community! Last month, I practiced at Om Yoga in Baxter; another great studio with some super talented instructors. The Fort Mill area is super fortunate to have so many great options when it comes to fitness. After trying out so many of them I realize there is no one place better than the other, however, there is a place that you will call your fitness home and that is the best one for you.
In my opinion, at one time, PushPointe was by far the best studio in Fort Mill. Crazy for me to say that right? But, when PushPointe was good, PushPointe was good (yes, when it wasn't, it wasn't). I've never been to another studio with the same vibe, community and heart that was at PushPointe, it truly was a special place (again, at one time). I can clearly remember a time after PushPointe when I swore I would never work at another fitness studio. But I did, and I ended up at Carolina Yoga and loved it. After CY, I couldn't take another heartbreak in the fitness industry so I was done. The negative self-talk and judgement was overwhelming.
This morning as I was working out at Burn, it occurred to me that even though all I saw was failure in this industry, so many others saw success which was proven in the multiple job offers I received. These thoughts continued to my meditation mat and the lesson was simple.....
Maybe the thing you judge the most about yourself is actually your biggest asset.
My friends, your experiences empower you. In the industry that I love, you don't have to be perfect at what you do but you do need to be relatable, understandable and you need to be willing to be in it with them. This applies to any area of life.....the thing that you beat yourself about daily could very well be your biggest asset.
Watching myself I see I love popping my eyes, sucking my teeth and in the morning is when my voice is a little deep and I talk a little sarcastic.
With this new algorithm thing Facebook and Instagram does I only see a few peoples pages and people tend to not conversate much.
Youtube is where I will post random thoughts and convos video wise and where I will be more interactive with comments. I cant really do inbox because my clients record my screens for work since I work remotely for my company "Keep Calm Hire Chanel". https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCe7D_dhgNGBxBUfUkaC5BLQ
Wayne Dyer once said “Change The Way You Look At Things And The Things You Look At Change”. He was so right.
When you change the way you see the world, when your intentions are positive and powerful, when you search only for the good, then you life transforms into the amazing adventure it was designed to be. After all, anything and everything in life is all up to interpretation. In other words, there is no such thing as reality, you create your own reality with the thoughts you think.
