Lighthouses are so hauntingly beautiful; elegant but lonely pieces of maritime history… ✨ There’s something poetic about them standing quietly amid dramatic landscapes. They symbolize hope and perseverance. I think that is why I am so drawn to them.

I always say that I want my photos to feel nostalgic, but what I really mean is "natsukashii" (懐かしい). ✨ It’s a Japanese phrase used when something evokes a fond memory from your past. It’s a word you exclaim as a smile creeps across your face. For instance, when you hear a song you loved as a teenager, or you come across an old train ticket stub in your coat pocket. Nostalgia is often full of longing. But natsukashii indicates joy and gratitude for the past, rather than a desire to return to it. I rarely look back at my pictures and wish I were somewhere else. They simply remind me that I am fortunate to have the experiences I have in my life so far. ❤️

Over these years I have come across many big Male Tigers in the wild... Right from “Wagdoh”& “Matkasur” of Tadoba to T-57 of Ranthanmbhore & Jamuntola Male of “Kanha” - they are HUGE sized males... !!! -
However I was amazed at a sight of this “SUB ADULT” - of Laadli... “ VEERU”... he’s a massive guy and I can only imagine his size when he reaches his total adulthood pretty soon...!!! 🐅🐅🐅 -

The “ No Refusal” is written on taxis so that the drivers are not able to refuse any ride. ... In Kolkata, the taxi drivers go according to their own whims and fancies and might deny you a ride for no reason at all.
