REAL TALK, I have “big” thighs and I’ve been told that I’m so “bold” and “brave” for wearing jeans shorts or shorter dresses during summer. I haven’t worked out in shorts in years and I mainly use them to sleep in. Recently I’ve decided that it is TOO HOT out and my body should not be policed by others so I went looking to buy shorts to wear on my walks and wear to the gym. It took me HOURS and a lot of driving around to even find ONE pair of shorts that fit me. As some of you can imagine it was disheartening and difficult to try on pair after pair feeling like they wouldn’t fit. All of this aside, I have decided that no one will police my thighs and if it takes me a lifetime, I will find good shorts and I will wear them to the gym. Also, a NSV for me will be to fit into some Adidas or Nike shorts either by the end of this summer or the beginning of next summer. Trying out an improvised version of sissy squats. The Smith machine didn't go lower, so used the squat rack.
Placing the bar just underneath the bend of your knee (I'm a short ass so had to elevate with a plate) 😁😁, hip hinge as far as you can go down, engage your legs massively to bring you hips back forward. This was supersetted with weight glute bridge for that extra burn.
