Do you know there are only 3300-3700 Tigers Alive today. Out 9 subspecies 3 are already Extinct and one is Extinct in the wild. 🐯
But when we care things do go the positive way, after all the problems in India Tigers number has grown. There are 50 tiger reserves in India which are governed by Project Tiger which is administrated by the National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA). India is home to 70 percent of tigers in the world. In 2006, there were 1,411 tigers which increased to 1,706 in 2011 and 2,226 in 2014. Still there are problems like overcrowded Reserves with tourists, human wild conflict. Tiger getting killed on railway tracks. .
There are problems, but there are positive signs as well and we can do much more better for Tigers Conservation.
