The Back Abbey - a great little place in Claremont, CA. I haven’t been in easily five years but they always had an amazing gourmet burger and a massive selection of beer and cider on tap and in bottles. I never had a bad meal or drink there. Idk if it’s changed much but I sure hope not.
This photo is of a Trappist beer that uses some ancient monk recipes. Tasty and strong.
I joined Instagram in 2011, just a few months after its launch. I had an old account from which I recently downloaded all my posts. There are 77 of them and I’m going to post them here. It’s sort of a little Instagram “way back”. They are in no particular order since I don’t know in what order they were to start. The years range from 2011-2013. Enjoy some memories from my past account.

1913 Traditional in Portland, OR. Unfortunately we only get one pic of this amazing pink blue tiled vintage bathroom, but what a view. You see there was some tile replacement activity at some point and they did a really great job matching the new tile to existing colors 😖. Nevertheless a wonderful bathroom full of the charm of yesteryear as agents listings love to say. Second bathroom looks to be a renovated early century bathroom, I suppose most of the items are newer, but this era is definitely not my forte. If you think differently please feel free to chime in ✨
1930’s Colonial in Detroit, MI. This bathroom has these amazing bones, but is just not getting any respect. Look at the amazing wave decorative tiles, the three mint green swan decorative tiles, the tiled arch, the tiled vanity nook, and then look at that vanity and sink installed!? How could you ruin such a regal design like that!? It’s an outrage! An insult! A slap in the face! Hopefully some kind vintage soul buys this house and gives it the second life that it truly deserves ✨🙌🏻❤️
How do you integrate the magical experiences in your life? How do you process your dreams? Ceremonies? Transformations? Birthings? Dyings?
I recently had 3 weeks of back to back maaaaaagic. First Gaian Code performance at Boulder Theater, then facilitating retreat and playing in Kauai, followed by participating in a weeklong intensive training in inner alchemy and human development.
Each one of those experiences was so deep! I’ve been wondering when I was gonna find time to integrate it all, especially since I hit the ground running as soon as I got home! Busting moves, filming, recording, rehearsing, teaching, running my business, leading classes, taking classes to expand my craft. I love my crazy magical life, but jeezus. Barely catching my breath with all this portal hopping. .
lol and behold, The past 3 days has been mostly napville - resting and digesting the energies of the month with very few fucks to give besides snuggling the cat on my biomat. .
Here’s one of the creative fruits of integration- I made this mandala the day my training finished to weave the magic of that week. Love this time capsule of such a meaningful multidimensional pocket of time. .

Ah, moving always helps you find little stashed away gems like this. Back in August 1990, the day Stevie Ray Vaughan died, my then band were scheduled for a rehearsal that night. It was a somber evening and we decided to record it...and I'm glad we did.

I feel like Christmas came early! 🤩 The age rewind serum and the eye smooth cream are in stock and ready to be shipped!
The age rewind serum is like a time capsule in a bottle! It has extracts from the kakadu plum which has 100x more vitamin c than an orange. I found Cher something that can truly “turn back time.” (Did you see what I did there? 😉😂)
The eye cream is a mother’s saving grace! It takes away those tired, dark eyes and makes you look refreshed! It even has caffeine in it to waken those eyes up.
I am BEYOND excited to have these two items back in stock.

2010 wasn’t close to my heaviest, but the girl on the left still felt the pain of that chair digging into her legs. This decade I hit some serious lows; had plenty of days where I didn’t want to continue living. But I’ve also had incredible highs; learning to love myself and finding my purpose. I am truly excited to see what the next decade brings. .
Here we have a Toyota Soarer GT Twin Turbo powered by the notable 1JZ-GTE engine. This car is a cult classic and fans of drifiting will know exactly the capabilities the Soarer truly has. This is a very low mileage example of one of Japans greatest ever sports cars. With only 77,000 original miles this Soarer is only just getting warmed up.
Hello 👋🏻 my friends & Happy Thursday aka Friday Jr.‼️ Let’s take a step back to the late 1800’s...our #TBT post is here❗️⠀⠀
We are heading over to Savannah...in 1881‼️We are back with another charming abode a lovely British inspired cottage home❗️This home will definitely win you over with its charm...⠀
From curbed.com, “Charming 1881 home in Savannah asks $1.6M⠀
A 19th-century three-bedrooom comes with a carriage house.⠀
There’s no shortage of old-school charm in this three-bedroom, four-bath 19th-century house in Savannah, Georgia. Originally built for a Civil War major in 1881, the home looks southern on the outside and British on the inside thanks to a renovation inspired by the elegance of a London townhouse.⠀
The house sits in the center of Savannah’s historic district, surrounded by lush trees and greenery. The approach to the home features a movie-worthy veranda that stretches across the width of the house, providing plenty of shade and space for enjoying a late afternoon drink.⠀
Inside the 4,053-square-foot home, ornate crown molding rims the ceiling and original mahogany and pine line the floors. The house features nine fireplaces (including a few in the bathrooms) and tall windows, which give the space a distinctly European flair.⠀
Next to the office, an enclosed sunroom leads to a back patio filled with plants and plenty of nooks to relax in. There’s also a two-story carriage house, where guests can stay. Charmed by the property? You can snag it for $1.6 million.” (See more here: https://buff.ly/35uvq81)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
How was time travel to midcentury Oakland❓How about this charming home🏡 😍⁉️Are you ready to move in 🤔💭...👍🏼or 👎🏼⁉️ #Savannah#Georgia#Breathtaking#Timeless#Vintage#TimeCapsule#TBT#Retro#RJRealEstate#RickyTheRealtor#FridayJr#Curbed#American#British#CottageHome
15 years ago last week I watched Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat’s body brought back to Ramallah after his mysterious death in France. Tens of thousands swarmed his old compound. Palestinian soldiers fired thousands of rounds in the area to clear the landing pad for the helicopters. And then the coffin was brought out to a shuddering cry from the crowd. Super intense sliver of history...(just found these on an old laptop I dusted off - swipe to follow the play by play) #tbt#arafat#palestinian#leaders#history#momentintime#timecapsule

With all the love in my heart I tell u this story.
One of the sweet “urban collectors” I pick from called and said he was dropping off a few treats for me. What!?!? A chicken feeder? Ladder? Whiskey barrel ring? I’m excited! What could it be!?!! I hope I masked my surprise when I saw these treats! 😂🤣🥴 this pretty much sums up “it’s the thought that counts”!’ Have a beauty of a day and may you get want you need...or maybe you get a decorative Kleenex box cover if you’re lucky! 🍀 ❤️
