  • RealTime vs. Timelapse •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
Most of my timelapse videos are 60-90 minutes vinyasa style flows sped up to fit into the one minute Instagram cap. However in real time I move very slow plus in the videos I usually cut out the Grounding & Breathwork and Relaxation (around 15/25 minutes in Realtime in addition to the flow) at the beginning and end of each Practice. I hold most poses for 3-10 rounds of breath (around 8-10 second inhale and 8-10 second exhale) so don‘t get fooled by the videos. I do enjoy a more rigorous style as well where I flow through the different asanas without holding them all too long but moving slow has a lot of benefits. You have Time to think about proper alignment , you can really breathe into the stretches and check in with yourself to see if your mind starts to wander when holding a pose. Some days you just want to move with the music, focus on lots of transitions and asanas whereas on other days your practice will be slow, deep and meditative. In the end it’s all about the Connection of mind, Body and breath but probably most importantly HAVE FUN with it 💗
