My current training has upper body push days, upper body pull days and balance days (I also train lower body and mobility mixed in to these workouts). Today was push focused for strength, you can see some of what I did in stories. I finished with conditioning. I dropped the difficulty and increased the intensity with this circuit. I included some basic pulling & spine extensions to balance out what I was doing and added some cartwheels for fun (and sideways movement). Circuit
* Inverted press x 10 reps
* Pulling prep x 10 reps
* Plank to pike x 10 reps
* Back extensions x 20 reps
* Cartwheels x 5 reps each side
I also filmed the same circuit with incline push-ups in place of the inverted press, push and lean in place of the plank to pike and mini cartwheels in place of the cartwheels. But the phone fairies stole the footage.
I did 3 rounds because it's enough and Poppy wanted second breakfast but you could do up to 5 rounds.
If you give it a try tag me or let me know how you found it.
Don’t be intimidated by your instructors!
We are here for YOU
We wanna get to know YOU
... I used to RUN out of the studio after taking any class because the good instructors always intimidated me. We want YOU to succeed ... we want YOU to actually enjoy your time in the studio. I am your friend!
It broke my heart when a couple girls told me that they were too scared to say hello ... I love you girls: I’m here for ya!

Can we make a pact? ✍🏻 Let’s ALL STOP giving in to GIVING UP!
In 2007, Jeremy had a burned copy of p90x that we attempted to do. Let’s say, we never even put the DVD in one single time & I ended up giving them to a friend. Accountability groups didn’t exist back then. 🙅🏼 On July 15th, 2013 I made a pact to myself that I was going to stop being a quitter. 💁🏼 & guys…it FEELS GOOD to say: here I am, 6 years later, & I haven’t quit. 💃
🔸Workout: Mt Hamilton Ride
🔸Weight: 109.6 lb
🔸 Body fat: 21.1
1-3. This was kind of on a whim, but after taking so many Peloton cycling classes, I felt like I could be strong enough to do a Mt Hamilton ride. My last ride was over two years ago, so it was nice to be able to do it out of the blue. Thats 4800 ft of climbing over about 38 miles. Whew! Riding is always better with friends! Thanks Geovid & @bertybert12
for a fun (and tiring) morning! #todaysworkout#mthamiltonride
4. The best part of any long bike ride is the FOOD. Our tradition is to go to black bear diner after the ride and just fill up on delicious breakfast food. My pancake was amazing! I also just kind of rounded out the cheat day with angel food cake with cool whip and berries for dessert. I’ll definitely be heavy tomorrow! #whatiatetoday#fooddiary
"What about my bike?!" He asked, panicked, as I showed up to pick him up.
# "It's ok", I said, "I'll put it in the back of the truck".
He smiled, relieved.
I picked up the 45lb bike, hauled it over the tailgate that won't open and placed it in the cargo bed of my truck.
My son's 8 year old bestie didn't care if I had a flat tummy or visible abs. He cared that I did not leave his bike behind.
@lisa.marie.ryan said "don't lead with aesthetics because sometimes we can't change the aesthetics.' #
Telling a woman that you can get her flat abs, a six pack, or get rid of her "mummy tummy" is a dangerous lie because sometimes it's not that simple. Sometimes you can't change the aesthetics in the way you would like.
Your body will change with babies, and some of those changes are completely out of your control. But you are adaptable and you can get stronger and you can improve your quality of life. You don't have to live in discomfort. You can affect change but its important to know what areas you can affect change in.
When my kids think back on their childhood I know they won't remember the bikini I wore, or the micro details of my body. What I hope they remember is that they mum could, and she always tried her best.
I train because I hope my kids always take my strength for granted. I don't want them to fear that I am fragile, I want them to see that I am strong.
Well, I attempted a pretty healthy dinner tonight and was about halfway through and the gagging started. 🤣
What would normally be one of my favorite meals definitely didn’t agree with me tonight. #ThanksPregnancy
What did you want while preggo? all I want right now are carbs! 😳 I’ll ditch the sweets, but gimme all the carbs. 😫🤷🏼♀️
It’s so sticky out today I was legit sticking to myself 😅 but, I wanted to get outside today, so I managed to do 10.05 miles today 😊🏃🏻♀️💦 and I came home to a surprise from my mom...a box full of all my favorite snacks! 😋🥰 so thankful for her 💞 #workoutgirls#runninggirl#todaysworkout
