TOP TOKYO WINTER ILLUMINATIONS: Caretta Shiodome
Caretta Shiodome (カレッタ汐留) in the shopping and dining center of Shiodome area in Minato-ku, Tokyo. For many years, it is one of the most popular spots in Tokyo for winter illuminations with over half a million visitors every year. Each year, the illumination event displays the dramatic light show with special themes and the soundtrack of various movies, featuring over 250,000 flickering LED lights.
This year, the Caretta Shiodome Winter Illumination has collaborated with the live-action Aladdin movie released in 2019. One of the most anticipated songs that is paired with the light show is “A Whole New World”. The illuminations event will take place from November 14, 2019 to February 14, 2020.

Well, throughout my 6 years of guiding photography tours in Japan, I was struggling only with this amazing spot in Hakone. Somehow it was always cloudy and mount Fujisan never show up while I was staying here. As Japanese say you always will return back if you didn't see Fuji for the first time. Now I can say it's true! 😀

Morning walk in the most beautiful park blanketed in stunning shades of autumn 🍁
Almost feels like we had strolled into a painting... 🍂

This was 2018 Christmas deco at Ginza Six. I was there exactly one year ago. The theme was “Fantastic Gift” by artist Nicolas Buffe, who designed the Serio Ludere scarf for Hermes. I have to give this department store a lot of credit for promoting arts and the talent of great artists 👏👏 #ginzasix#christmas2018#tokyo#ginza
Went to Japan for my birthday last month. This here is in Shibuya the busiest crossing in the world we’re they filmed Tokyo Drift,
And the Hachiko dog statue is located right there too. I’ve always wanted to go and explore this amazing culture on the other side of the world and let me tell you they are the most considerate people I’ve know they look out for others first rather themselves, It’s sounds like a blessing but they take it to the extreme were they stop doing the things they want to please others around them. “You can’t eat and walk because it may offend others” one of the common ones you can hear around. But talking about how clean this place is its like an enviromentals heaven, I never saw a piece of trash in the floor “NEVER” thats how clean Japan is! #tokyo#hachiko#shibuya#tokyodrift

今年一番感動した美術展☺️ #東山魁夷 と #奥田元宗 の絵の色使いと構図が深くて絵の世界に吸い込まれみたい// I was mesmerised by the artwork in this exhibition, the use of colours and composition brought me into the world of natural wonders. As you look at these painting, you would even wonder if such lovely colours really exist ❄️🍁🌿 (Although the set up of this exhibition is completely different from Monet’s painting at Musee l’Orangerie, it gave me similar feelings as I slowly pace around the exhibition hall) #東京#美術館#Tokyo#Japan#japaneseart#japanesepainting#colors
