Drinking is a LARGE part of Japanese social life😎🍾🍾🍾And the Japanese take their cocktails just as seriously as their food👌🏼
.

Feel like a Japanese-inspired cocktail? Which one do you fancy?😌
. 🍸Lemon Sour
— is one of the most common Japanese alcoholic drinks🙂 It’s made with shochu, soda water, and the juice of a freshly squeezed lemon🍋
. 🍸Cassis Orange/ Cassis Grape
— cocktails that don’t really taste alcoholic😂Orange/ grapefruit juice + crème de cassis👌🏼
. 🍸Umeshu Tonic
— is a popular cocktail made with umeshu (“plum wine”) mixed with tonic water🌛
. 🍸Umetini (Umeshu & Gin)
— a cocktail that’s made with seven parts umeshu to three parts gin😏⚡️
. 🍸Ginza Spritz
— yuzu-infused sake🍊 is mixed with Tanqueray Gin, muddled lemon🍋 and shiso🍃, with a spritz of ramunade served over ice in a double old fashion!
. 🍸Sake Champagne Mojito
— muddled mint leaves, stevia and lime juice together, with sake and champagne, of course🍾 . 🍸Matcha Highball
— the mix of whisky, lemon juice🍋, honey syrup🍯 and matcha🍵with the club soda✌🏼
. 🍸Tangerine Ginger Sake Sangria
— fresh ginger, crisp tangerine and offering a refreshing minty finish, it’s everything a mixed drink should be!🌿
. 🍸Asahi Red Eye
— is a beer cocktail featuring beer🍺, tomato juice🍅 and fresh lemon juice🍋
. 🍸Saketini
— a portmanteau of “sake” and “martini”😄 the saketini is an ingenious cocktail!
. 🍸Shochu Melon Citrus Cocktail
— shochu with melon liqueur🍈 and a squeeze of lemon juice🍋
. 🍸Lime Chu-Hai

  • 🇬🇧 I am not sure if my eyes hurt because of an allergy or time spent on editing this photo taken in the heart of the Shinjuku district in Tokyo 🤷‍♂️😉
.
Do you find this part of the Japanese culture fascinating or rather overwhelming?
.
SIGHTS: All these colorful neons and crazy ads usually indicate that there is an arcade game center inside the building. This industry in Japan is still worth around 4 billion US dollars a year and is a big part of the modern culture. I will write more about it when I start sharing photos from the district famous for its electronic, anime and manga shops - Akihabara.
.
Check my stories and highlights from Japan if you want to see more from the Shinjuku District! ✌
.
🇵🇱 Sam już nie wiem czy oczy mnie bolą przez alergię, czy ilość czasu spędzoną na edycji tego zdjęcia z samego serca dzielnicy Shinjuku w Tokio 🤷‍♂️😉
.
Ta strona kultury japońskiej Was fascynuje, czy raczej przeraża?
.
.
Pamiętaj, że w moich wyróżnionych stories (highlights) z Japonii możesz znaleźć więcej relacji z dzielnicy Shinjuku! ✌
