  • Segue a receita do molho de tomate que é muito fácil, saudável e faço sempre aqui em casa.
Eu corto os tomates, coloco na assadeira (aqui usei 3 tomates grandes), 1 cebola média e 1/2 pimentão vermelho. Tempero tudo com sal, pimenta, coloco alho picado por cima, tomilho, alecrim, manjericão e azeite de oliva. Levo ao forno por uns 40 minutos em temperatura alta (200°C). Aí depois de assado bato no liquidificador e acerto os temperos. Fica ótimo, serve até como sopa pros dias frios.
*** Uso o tomate inteiro, primeiro pra ter um aproveitamento integral do alimento. Além disto, as sementes de tomate são antioxidantes naturais por conterem licopeno e beta-caroteno que tem um papel na redução de problemas inflamatórios, regulação da pressão sanguínea e melhora da imunidade. Ajudam a reduzir o colesterol devido as fibras e niacina. Atuam na prevenção de doenças cardíacas por conterem vitaminas B6 e B9 e potássio. Tudo de bom 😉👌🏻❤️ .

Serves 4
Per serving: 1 lean, 2 green, ~3 condiments
Cooking spray 
2 medium red bell peppers, seed and thinly sliced
2 cups of diced tomatoes 
3 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp sweet paprika
1/8 tsp cayenne
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
5 ounces reduced-fat feta cheese, crumbled
9 large eggs
Chopped cilantro for serving
Note: feta cheese is high in sodium; therefore, we recommend only having this on occasion.

Heat oven to 375*.
Heat sprayed large skillet over medium low heat.
Add bell pepper. Cook gently until very soft.
Add garlic & cook until tender, 1-2 minutes. 
Stir in cumin, paprika, cayenne & cook 1 minute.
Pour in diced tomatoes & season w/salt & pepper; simmer until tomatoes have thickened, about 10 min. 
Stir in feta.
Gently crack in eggs over tomatoes.
Transfer skillet to oven & bake until eggs are just set, 7-10 min.
Sprinkle w/cilantro.

Will need to add one additional serving of veggies to make your day complete for lean and green #shakshuka #eggs #spicy #healthy #healthycooking #cheese #tomatosauce
