Hope everyone will have a fantastic start of the week ahead! 🤩
I just had a wonderful one today. 🤗🤗Good start of the week for me 😀
People have asked countless times about my #stationarycart and the materials I used to make it look like a candy store 😂So here are the simple lists of products:
Here it is, finally finished T^T and I love it, these two handsome boys are my friend @awkwardryeart 's OC's Kou and Zod (going in order from left to right hahah) they are a couple, was struggling a bit since I was worried the colors wouldn't look right but I'm glad they all look so nice together :3 I think the one I doodled for the past week was Kou, Zod was a lil more fun to color tho xD 👾
“I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. Yet a little while and the world will see me no more, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live.” John 14:18-19 ESV
Fireside reflections on this Easter Eve: Jesus calls his disciples “little children” in John 13. In John 14, He tells them He will go away for a while, but come back bearing the gift of forever fellowship with the Holy Spirit. Because Jesus is ALIVE, we are never without His, the Spirit’s, and the Father’s presence. He conquered death. He is risen! He is with us. We are not orphans.
Ahh! Totally doing the kids' Easter things at the last second. But card writing is a great opportunity to practice hand lettering! My older son can recognize my hand writing, so I have to disguise it 😂
when i learned cursive in elementary school, i was taught that keeping the pen touching the paper was a big part of it. but with brush lettering, i think adjusting your pen makes for a prettier result with better flow. don’t worry too much about rules! •

Day 19 of the #100dayproject . Today's word: ROLLS. My grandma passed away when I was nine, and she left behind her yeast roll recipe. My grandma was known for her incredible cooking and baking (she fried a pound of bacon every single day 😂). Her yeast rolls were the tallest, flakiest, best rolls I had ever had. As I got older, my mom would try to make the rolls, and it never worked (we called them roll pancakes 😂 sorry, mom!). When I got married, my mom shared the recipe with me. I tried for years to get the recipe to work, and they always turned out much denser and flatter than when my grandma made them. (We are all convinced she purposesly wrote the directions down wrong, so no one would make rolls better than hers. 😂) Over Christmas, my husband and I FINALLY got them to work. 🙌🏼 They were tall, airy, and had just the right amount of butter. While they were delicious, they still don't quite compare to "grandma rolls" - and that's okay. 🖤 The memories made in countless attempts to get the recipe just right we're far greater than any memories made getting them perfect. 🖤 .
