  • “The Art Gallery of Ontario belongs to everyone in Toronto,” said @agotoronto director @stephanjostago. “We're delighted that the building makes that obvious.” The AGO has been renovated numerous times over the years, including a monumental 2008 renovation by the Toronto-born architect Frank Gehry. The building is meant to provide the city with unparalleled access to art, and to remain in dialogue with its neighbors. Among the design elements that help make that happen: visible walkways, an abundance of glass and views of the city and the adjacent Grange Park. The 2-hectare green space, which was redesigned in 2018 by @pfsstudio, belongs to AGO but operates as a public space. Here, the Gattuso staircase, which @stephanjostago calls “the most beautiful staircase in North America.” Watch our Story to take a tour inside the #artgalleryofontario. 📸: @kaylaroccaphoto

  • “This is the best room in the museum.” That's how @agotoronto director Stephan Jost introduced us to Galleria Italia, this light-filled space designed by @frankgehry and named for the 24 Canadian-Italian families who supported the project. At 450-feet long, this sculptural promenade takes up an entire city block and sits 70 feet above street level. “It soars above the neighborhood,” @stephanjostago said. It was important to AGO that passersby be able to look inside. When the space opened, in 2008, Toronto's @globeandmail called it the city's “new, exhilarating living room.” Galleria Italia is the largest Canadian public project to be made of wood, Douglas Fir. Its multiple entry points link a number of galleries together, suggesting to visitors “an infinite number of journeys,” Stephan said. “It is a powerful space,” he said, “with a soaring height, but an intimate feel.” Watch our Story to take a tour. 📸: @kaylaroccaphoto

  • TORONTO GARAGE / STUDIO

Project by: @anyamoryoussef_architect “The client’s studiolo was conceived as a series of interconnected wooden rooms/cabinets (a reading room, a writing room, a storage room, an entry room) erected like a stage set inside of a larger room—a concrete block shell—situated in a garden that itself was designed as room." What do you think of this modern studio that was previously just a single car garage?

💎In-Demand Infinity Condos Unit 💎
🛏 1+Den 🛏
👀 37th Floor 👀
📽🎬 More Details to Come with Upcoming Video 🎥🎬

We filmed the video for this bad boy just a few hours before the Raps laid a proper beatdown on Orlando. Certainly adds a bit of charm to it based on that closeout alone. Also helped that the property was mere feet away from Jurassic Park! Nothing can possib-lie go wrong with that (that one's for any @thesimpsons fans)! 😁😉😃.

Watch out for the vid coming tomorrow!!!

  • The weathercock house in The Kitano neighbourhood of Kobe was built in 1909 by a wealthy German merchant named Gottfried Thomas. The port of Kobe opened up to foreign trade in the mid 1800s and as a result many traders from all over the world built houses here. Many of them are now museums and can be toured for a small fee. #oldhouselove #archi_ologie
