So I had the absolute pleasure of spending Saturday afternoon with these two. We listened to records, drank wine and talked about life. It was the perfect. The fun aspect of this session was that I left my digital camera at home👌. All film.
I have so many I want to post but I’m still waiting for my 120mm scans to come in. I can’t wait to post this session on my blog! Enjoy these for now! 👍

Really trying to nail bridal portraits !
Taking time to attend the workshops and train from the best so that I can keep improving for you guys. I love when I get excited about a shot, I love when it turns out exactly how I pictured it too. And I love looking at my work a year ago vs. today. I always aim to improve , in any way shape or form and that it my promise to you guys.
To always aim for the best no matter what.
It's your memories and you deserve nothing less 😊💕 I've been posting lots of late night photos - go check the rest out ! ⭐
For family sessions, I love getting everyone to squish together as close and tight as they can. I love shots like this, even though no one is even looking.
Because it's real. It's raw. I FEEL something while looking at this photo.
And THAT is what I want to be creating from here on out.
Work that makes you feel something when you look at it. 💕
I always find myself editing at like 1am because as a momma, I don't like to take time away from my daughter or husband during the day so I sacrifice my sleep to edit !
But I always sleep better after I get to create some magic for you guys... So It's okay 😉💕
Love that flowers are starting to bloom - which means cute dresses can come out again 😁 ❤️ anyone else love a good spring/ summer dress ?
Check out my other late night posts 🌸 share some love.
Walking into this week all smiles because d a n g I love my job.
It’s been 7 years I’ve run this business, and this morning I literally jumped out of bed I was so excited to start work.
I laughed, feeling grateful because that hasn’t always been the case. Friends, I was so happy that I’d even get annoyed at anything that came in the way of my work… like lunch! showering! Normal important things that I don’t ever mind and usually welcome. 🤣
Waking up that way says a lot to me. Not just that I like running a photography business, moreso that I’m proud that I've been brave enough to CHANGE it to suit what I need in life right now. And the result is that I’m more passionate then ever to create authentic art about the beautiful humans I get to shoot.
Over the years I’ve had to consistently adjust, re-focus, and adapt my business to my life but too often I would make as small changes as possible instead of really going in the direction I wanted. Because it was scary! And intimidating! And I wasn’t exactly sure how to do it.
But this year, I knew I needed some REAL change. Despite it being a scary and unknown. Step by step, as I integrate those changes I get happier on a daily basis. It’s so freeing. And so exciting. The ripple effect is that as I stay true to me, I create better work for my clients and am so much happier in my life as well. A win-win-win situation, I’d say!
I’ll let you in, my friends, on more details in the coming weeks (but don’t worry, I’m still traveling and shooting weddings!). Until then, thanks for reading and supporting my journey and helping me to keep doing this job! I couldn’t without the amazing people who hire me every year. Sending love out to you all tonight!

Reminiscing about this beautiful wedding at the historic University of Toronto.✨ Built in 1827, it’s one of Toronto’s most historic sites. We’re in love with the mix of different architectural styles - it makes the perfect background for weddings, whatever your theme!
Our lives have been so crazy these days, and it ain’t slowing down anytime soon. 😅 Evan leaves for work in the wee hours of the morn, I spend my days glued to a screen editing photos & answering emails, he comes home and we scarf down a meal together before heading out to client meetings in the city. We love what we do, but some days are tougher than others. However, we just left the most fun client meeting (like literally haven’t laughed so hard in a meeting before) and it was such a good reminder of why we hustle our butts off. We get to connect with the raddest couples and go into wedding days feeling like friends rather than vendors. It’s the best and we wouldn’t trade it for anything 🖤
Her sequinned dress looks great in black and white, too. A quiet moment with these beauties. 💫✨

Blue flowers are simply unique! 💐 --- Thank you @tacariweddings@indiewed and @modernweddings for featuring the Ash and Tony's beautiful wedding on your online magazines! Very humbled. ❤️✨😍 Ash and Tony definitely deserved the feature as theirs is what I call the greatest love story in the World - the love of mom, dad and child. ✨
Blessed to have been part of one of the most special day of their lives! 😊
🧿 This Miami trip will be my last trip for a little while so I have been soaking in the sun, beach, and freedom. Travelling with two babies won't be an easy task so I'll hold off for the first year, atleast that's the plan. The next time I'm on a plane with this boy, there will be a little girl with us too iA.🧿 #thankfultoGod#6monthspregnant

I’ve been taking it easy on social media lately. Some of you have written checking in on me and I appreciate it - I’m doing just fine!
I’m just really realizing that it’s good to let go sometimes. Take a little mental break - especially from the screen. Can’t believe we are already less than 2 weeks until wedding season begins again ✌️
