  • 🍀What a year this has been. I can honestly say that this has been my best and happiest year in 8 years. From dealing with my dad’s cancer and losing him, to a failed engagement, to college struggles due to my grief, gaining over 100 pounds, moving and moving and moving again, major mental and physical health struggles, an uncertain future and a job that made me miserable to getting healthy and living my best life. I wish I had known the difference that would be made in all parts of my life just by putting my health first. I started with that and the rest just fell into place. I’ll always be grateful for Keto for being the tool that allowed me to get to where I am now. It’s scary to think where I would be had I not found it. 💛💛💛 I’m so so grateful for all of you and I sincerely wish you the best year ever in 2019. Here’s to the New Year! 🎉🎉🎉 Tag me in your 2018 transformation pictures! I want to celebrate YOU!

  • I spent Friday evening in one of my favorite spots in Columbus. I have been suuuuper social lately and I had a minor disappointment on Friday, and as a result was feeling a little in my head. I took a couple of hours at the float spa to recharge and I spent the weekend with myself, playing my piano, writing, resting, watching @beyonce’s Homecoming film, and dancing until 3am last night in my bedroom.   • Yoga time!! I am not training for a vacation
I am not training for summer. 
I am not training for a family event. 
I am training to be an everyday STRONG MOM!!! To feel good in my clothes, to be confident in the mirror, to know I am doing ME!!! Sure a 6 pack would be great but I have NEVER had a 6 pack. That doesn't mean I can't I just know that I have to work a little harder and a little longer to get there. And I will get there!! This body has held 4 pregnancies, which were all boys. I have seen it go through some serious transformations. 
I'm so proud of how far I've come and how dedicated I've been ... BUT ... I'm still human.  I still love food.  I am not starving myself, not depriving myself of the food I love (living in moderation). I have learnt to love every inch of this body including its flaws. This is the only life and body I get dam right I am going to do it right.  If I had on thing I could change it would have been starting sooner so I could feel this amazing earlier in life.

  • [Werbung] Du warst doch gar nicht so dick?! 90kg? Nie im Leben!? Irgendwie haben andere mich anscheinend immer anders gesehen als ich mich selber. Der Tag den dem ich mich bei WW angemeldet habe, wog ich 89,9 kg. Jetzt, wo ich mir alte Bilder angucke, sehe ich das sehr wohl. Eigentlich habe ich auch immer versucht mich so zu kleiden, das es nicht so doll auffällt, aber das ich so schlimm aussah wie auf dem Bild. Naja, eigentlich gibt es unzählige Bilder. Auf allen sehe ich eigentlich gleich schwer aus 🤦🏻‍♀️ Da mag ich nie wieder hin kommen. Auch wenn ich mal schluder und auch mal an Partys esse was ich mag, finde ich trotzdem immer wieder zurück ins Programm✌🏼 Wenn im Kopf angekommen ist, dass man seine Ernährung dauerhaft umstellen muss, ist es viel einfacher. Lernen muss man auch, dass man sich jetzt *normal* ernährt. Die Ernährung die man vorher hatte, war alles andere als normal. Essen bis einem schlecht ist, stopfen bis nichts mehr geht, Cola, Chips, Schoki.. Das ist wohl alles andere außer normal. Wie oft hört man: Meine Freundin hat auch WW gemacht, danach hat sie wieder zugenommen.   • These 2 pics (L-before, R-after) show 2 wks difference with a 1kg drop in body fat (goal to reach 56kg in 14wks to compete in the sports model div. I’m currently around 62.7).
Are you squinting to see any changes? 
While the changes are small, remember....it’s only 2 weeks! 
For some reason people expect major visible changes as soon as they start cutting. Why?? You’re peaking for show day, not to looked jacked in 1 month just ‘because’. It should be a slow and steady drop to look stage ready, on stage DAY. . 
The smallest changes are actually significant, it means you’re heading in the right direction and doing it the healthiest way possible. As long as there are positive changes each week, you’re doin it right.

For those doing their first show this upcoming season, here’s my advice.
1. Pay close attention to your body. How it looks in the mirror while training and practising posing and how it feels while showering. You should see and feel small yet constant changes. Be excited when you notice them!
2. Be patient. I know you want abs and shredded legs NOW but they don’t often reveal themselves until much closer to show day. AND that all depends on your genetics, overall health, where you lose fat, and how much muscle mass you have. 
3. If you peak (aka look stage ready) weeks or months before stage day, you’ve messed up big time. You’re probably going to lose muscle mass or feel death trying to hold it. Expect to look stage ready on STAGE DAY. 
4.  Enjoy the process and embrace it. Don’t get so fixated on ‘where are my abs, I want them now’, no-one actually cares if you have them or not. Through the rough, moody, low days, you’ll discover ALOT about yourself and and the end of it all you’ll be proud as punch at what you’ve achieved. Embrace!
5. NEVER under ANY circumstance whinge about weight loss to anyone unless they’re your coach, they’ve done this before or currently doing it. It’s insulting to others when someone who they most likely think looks awesome whinges about ‘being fat’ or ‘I just want to lose these bits (grabbing their upper thighs)’. Keep those worries for yourself and your coach. 
6. Take progress shots. They’re a great indicator of change!

I have never done any of these trails on Green Mountain. Went there with the expectations of doing the big round circle but with the ups and downs in elevations had to shorten it no setbacks just more 🥅 #goals !

  • So I’ve decided to share a few more #transformations that have happened and helped turn my life on to a co platelet new path. So smoking was something I gave up! About 18 months ago I quit smoking and this was basically my morning routine. Wake up smoke, get hungry - smoke. Eventually I’d eat mainly around lunch or later. Now the first thing I eat is a yoghurt (not very hungry first thing) and then after an hour or two I’ll have my breakfast which is 4 eggs and a cup of oats. Changing my routines has been a huge challenge but getting rid of the tobacco is what I credit to starting all of this #quitter #transformationstory #dontsmoke #healthy #newlifestyle #change #fitness #mindovermatter

Green Smoothie Prep Packets🌱

How to "find " more time each day!
7 Days of Pre-made, drop into the blender-Green Morning Smoothies!

What you can do for 1 week PREP today:
(You can use ANY favorite combo of fruits or make these for any # servings/days -adjust!)
2 servings per day for 1 week:
■7 or more gallon Ziploc Freezer bags, large tupperware containers, OR large glass canning jars (if you have freezer space...can reuse ziplocs the next week, to prevent waste)
Add to EACH Packet:
■1 cup fresh baby spinach (freezes very well) AND 1/2 cup organic chopped kale
■1 cup organic berries of choice🍓
■1 banana🍌
■optional: a handful of organic green grapes
{Seal, place in FREEZER immediately. When ready to prepare, place packet ingredients in a high powered blender. You may need to chop banana into smaller pieces. Add 1 cup liquid; such as cold water, unsweetened coconut milk, almond milk...etc. 
These are best used within 30 days once frozen.

Have you ever heard of batching? 
Batching is: doing a bunch of similar tasks all at once! 
When we get in our "groove" with a single task we become more efficient.

Instead of spending 10 minutes EACH morning; deciding, finding, and preparing smoothie ingredients, you can prepare 1-2 weeks worth of your favorite smoothies all at 
once-in about 20 minutes total! 
umm...add that up!

You just "found" yourself
10 minutes per day, 
x 2 weeks= over 2 hours SAVED!⌚ THIS is why prepping ahead is EVERYTHING! 
You are also more likely to make a smoothie everyday if it's ready to drop into the blender! 
Enjoy your Sunday ENERGY & TIME you just 'found'!
