  • Yes I’m still posting about Udaipur, and no I’m not still there (unfortunately) 🙈 BUT if you are going soon you’ll be happy with this.. I have a brand new blog post all about Udaipur - a mini travel guide if you will. I hope it is useful for all of you travel bugs out there heading to India or perhaps the inspiration you needed to book flights and see the dreamy City of Lakes 😍 Link in bio or head to www.nikitabathia.com to check it out

  • Looking forward to some new adventures💫
.
It still feels quite surreal that we have seen an active volcano, twice. Java was such a great trip full of bucketlist experiences.
.
We’ve been home for only 10 days and already planning so many new adventures!
.
Do you have any recommendation where to go?

  • Over and out #Mexico you have been an absolute dream! It was a pretty last minute & daunting decision to spend one month in this country travelling solo because so many people had said how dangerous it was, but it was absolutely worth it. To the people and friends I’ve made, thank you. You’ve made my time here incredible 💫🙏🏽

  • #TipTuesday : when you’re in Philly, please have a Philly cheesesteak. Yes, so cliche but also, so delicious. 🤤 Don’t let the phonies fool you, Campos is the best and deserves the rep on the block! If you’re anything like us, you’ll try every possible version of the cheesesteak, which included but was not limited to, wraps, breakfast burritos, etc. so we officially know a thing or two about a good spot to eat one 😉 this restaurant is also just down the street from the Liberty Bell and keep in mind, it is cash only! 💰 .

  • Nothing says Acapulco to us more than a visit to El Cano Diamanté to enjoy the Coco Loco! They pour tequila, rum, vodka & gin into a coconut (the size of your head!!) with the coconut water inside. Not only does it taste like heaven, there’s no hangover AND you get those hydrating electrolytes 😍 🥥 Double tap and comment to let us know if you’ve been to Mexico! ✈️ 🇲🇽 ✈️ 🇲🇽 •

  • Tag someone you'd take here! "Exploring the mangroves off Whitsunday island!
Video by @johnny_gaskell ft. @kristie_lawrence
On these rainy days nothing beats getting lost among the mangroves roots. Once you put your head under, It’s like an eerie underwater forest with so much life. We saw plenty of rays, fish, crabs and shrimp all taking cover hiding from bigger predators. The animals seem less afraid of us too. It’s like theres a mangrove code and everyone gets along. It’s easy to see why this habitat is so important and how coastal development can have a huge impact. Snorkeler is @kristie_lawrence with a Cowtail Stingray and some shrimp.

  • Tag your travel buddy! "Rare footage of a polar bear capturing a beluga whale 😮
Video and caption below by @bertiegregory
~
We had spent a lot of time getting to know this area’s beluga whales so it tough to watch this individual lose its life. That said, we couldn’t help being in awe of this male polar bear as he had just demonstrated one of the most incredible pieces of animal behaviour I’ve seen. His hunting strategy required foresight, patience, athleticism and efficiency.
We had watched this bear prepare his ambush hours earlier by swimming half a mile offshore to a big rock that broke the surface of the water. Once on the rock, he laid down and went to sleep. Over the next few hours, the tide rose around his rock and on cue, the belugas began to arrive. The bear knew that at every high tide, the belugas would head into a river mouth. On their journey they would come past the bear’s hunting rock.
Now very awake and the rising tide lapping at his feet, he stood motionless waiting for the moment a whale came into range. He then launched into the air and onto the beluga. To kill his prey he went straight for the melon, a fatty bulge on the belugas forehead used for communication and echolocation. Brutal as it may seem to us, this whale will provide a vital and rare summer meal for this bear who would normally spend the summer months on land with no food. Watch the whole scene in the North America episode of ‘Seven Worlds, One Planet’ on iPlayer in the UK now.

  • Need a date night spot? Feel like getting dressed up for a girls/guys night out? @eatstk is definitely a great choice if you are feeling like getting dressed up and having amazing steak! The decor and vibe of this restaurant is absolutely fabulous. I had the 14oz New York strip with a side of Mac and cheese. Hands down some of the best steak and Mac and cheese I have ever had! 😋Opens at 5pm daily for dinner. Check out website for menu

  • It wouldn’t be #nationaldrinkwineday if we didn’t post about the best winery we’ve ever been to 🍷 .
Mendoza, Argentina is home to so many incredible vineyards and wineries but our favorite was hands down, @bodegaandeluna ♥️ tucked away in the Andes with stunning views, insanely good food and some of the best wine we’ve ever had. Add this place to your travel bucket list! #notsponsored

Apalagi kalau kita bercerita betapa indahnya Indonesia bagian timur. Wah! bakalan banyak banget yang pengen kami ceritain. Terlebih lagi kalau kita ngomongin Sumba, sebuah pulau dengan banyak tempat-tempat tersembunyi yang memanggil untuk kami jelajahi...

  • Waikiki - one of the most well-known beaches on the planet, extending from Ala Wai Canal in the north-west to Diamond Head in the east, known as "The Gathering Place”, once a Hawaiian royal retreat, Waikiki (Spouting Water) revels in its role as a retreat for the masses. This famous strand of sand moves to a rhythm of Hawaiian music at beachfront high-rises and resorts. In this pulsing jungle of modern hotels and malls, you can, surprisingly, still hear whispers of Hawaii’s past, from the chanting of hula troupes at Kuhio Beach to the legacy of Olympic gold medalist Duke Kahanamoku. It is a unique vacation experience that easily brings visitors and kama'aina (local) together and is a Hawaiian crossroads for multicultural encounter. In early Hawaii, Waikiki was a much larger area than the 1.5 square miles it encompasses today, much of it swampland. Diamond Head - the iconic silhouette of Diamond Head State Monument sits along the Honolulu skyline just beyond Waikiki. This 760-foot tuff crater is one of Hawaii's most famous landmarks. Originally named Leahi by the ancient Hawaiians who felt it looked like the "brow of a tuna", it received its more famous name from British sailors who saw its calcite crystals in the lava rock glimmering in the sunlight. It is part of the system of cones, vents, and eruption flows of the Honolulu Volcanic Series and has been extinct for around 150,000 years. The short but steep trail to the summit gives a 360 degree view of Oahu from above 🥰💖💙🏝🌤🌊🛥🏙✈️ #landscape #travel #travelbag #travelbloggers #travelawesome #natureiscalling #picoftheday #explore #adventure #wanderlust #instatravel #beautiful #nature #history #vacation #winter #oahu #hawaii #mountains #volcano #ocean #waikiki #beach #harbor #resort #hotel #skyline #sailing #paradise #view
