This is a Joshua Tree. They’re very Dr. Seuss like and grow sparsely in sandy fields.
As I’ve mentioned, we love Joshua Tree. We’ve only been twice and both for too short a period of time. I’d like to go in the spring when all the flowers are blooming. There are some gorgeous, recently-renovated guest houses I’d love to stay in there also.
With all the places to visit in the world, it might seem silly to go back to the same place again. But I love discovering more each time. It’s also nice to go somewhere slightly familiar. You don’t have to work quite as hard that second or third time. You already know what’s available, what the vibe is like, etc. so you can just settle in and relax. It’s like watching that favorite movie over and over. It becomes comfortable over time.
2020 is the new frontier, if we start thinking about Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey!
Case and point - there's a group of scientists from University of Massachusetts, teamed up with computer and robotics experts at the University of Vermont, are now are building robots, not out of metal and plastic; but using stem cells of living creatures to build their tiny machines. Once tested and perfected, these "xenobots" are tougher than a typical machine and can be used to perform tasks like, cleaning up plastics polluting the oceans, or traveling into arteries to scrape out plaque, and possibly even taking out cancer cells!! YASS!!! We wanna save our forests and oceans, end heart attacks, and cure cancer!
Bio science and technology in stem cell research is definitely one of the few areas to keep an eye on and invest in this year! Can't wait to complete my business plan for this new venture! Business partners are welcome 😅
ICE ICE BABY ⇢ If this #icecreamlover can hardly keep his eyes open while enjoying his favorite meal, then this is one of the few times when we carry Marlon back home. Sometimes I'm very proud of our little one. We walk around, explore, discover, chat... ...and poffff, five miles are executed. He's doing great, and sometimes ice cream is in as a reward. Today we discovered the ice cream shop #lenguademariposa . An #icecream parlor that has 160! different kinds of ice cream, every day 16 different ones. Evelin is the creator of this concept. She combines fruit, vegetables, spices, liqueurs and traditional desserts with ice cream, following traditional and innovative recipes. It was really delicious and we love to support small local businesses.

Do you like daring mixes like ice cream with ham and cloves or do you prefer chocolate ice cream?
