After hours of putting this together...It's FINALLY ready! Gah I’m so excited 😆 My traveling with a baby blog post is live! Link in profile.
Can you believe Ellie is (almost) 10 mo old and has been on 16 flights and 12 road trips...and counting!?
On the blog today, I've posted 35 tips for traveling with a baby under the age of one and my minimalistic packing list. I hope you find it helpful as you travel with YOUR little one!
Post below with any questions you may have! I’m happy to help!
There aren’t enough words to truly capture the feelings and thoughts this special place evokes when you’re in its presence
All I can say is that I have never felt as fortunate or as humbled as I did in that moment, when we walked into the @basilicasagradafamilia
This beautiful basilica, with all its grandeur tells the story of the life of Jesus Christ through beautiful sceneries throughout its halls, archways, and ceilings.
While it won’t be fully built until 2026 (on the 100th anniversary of Antoni Gaudi’s death) you can very well see just how beautiful this massive basilica will be once it’s finished
Design +Travel. By @sizavieira, Capela Do Monte is located in #algarveportugal . The chapel relies on natural ventilation, and contains no electricity, heat or running water. Currently planning summer trips, and this structure spoke to me: truly the way of the future... #theeyemusttravell
#tbt to the time my man and I rode camels and camped under the stars in the Sahara Desert. 🌵🐪
Yes. Contrary to popular belief, the desert was actually quite cold.
Yes. I did sing “I bless the rains down in Aaaafrica” by Toto.
Yes. It was one of the most amazing experiences of my whole entire life.

Sam had flown ahead to Geneva to get our housing situation settled. I flew over several weeks later. Alone. With an eight month old baby. Dallas airport was the worst. My stroller wheel had broken en route to Dallas. So I had to haul everything in my two scrawny arms. A baby. A broken stroller. A large carry on diaper bag. I got lost trying to find my gate, going the wrong way in the monorail. I sprinted to my gate, sweaty, exhausted, as they called my name@over the intercom, waiting for me to board...the very last person. I can’t remember how long the flight was, but it felt like ten years. The time change was completely unsympathetic to my insomnia as I stayed awake to nurse my fat babe. It was 10pm...baby Isaiah’s time to fall asleep. BUT, it was also 6am, time to land in Heathrow and exit the plane. I boarded my connecting flight, more tired than I’d ever felt in my life. I landed in Switzerland an hour or two later (it’s all really fuzzy)...and when I saw Sam waiting in the terminal, I broke down bawling my eyes out. And then I discovered my luggage was lost. However, the Swiss chocolate that awaited me in my new home - a cement bunker in someone’s basement - kinda made up for it all. I slept and slept and slept. .
oh how i wish i was wasting the day on a gondola in Venice instead of writing papers! Venice was a maze of rivers and cute little houses! Wouldn’t it be a dream to walk out onto a balcony of your house and see the water instead of grass? *
I came across this picture while going through my Africa photos. I remember this moment completely. It was the moment when you take a minute, stop pinch yourself and realize what you have made happen for yourself. We all have different dreams and different goals. For me Africa was on the top of my list. The trip intimidated me though, so I always pushed other ones before it that seemed more achievable. I can confidently say with the little wisdom I’ve learned in my 30 years.: Life begins at the end of your comfort zone. If you want to grow, transform and evolve you need to get comfortable being uncomfortable. @intrepidtravel#africa#uganda
Okay, okay. I saw my dogs, my cat, and slept in my bed. Can we go back now?! I’m missing the UK and @hcdadams already!

On a real note, I’m back to real life. I’m teaching the 4pm class at @titleboxingclubannarbor before starting night shift again! Yes, I’m back on nights and tonight is night 1/3. Come box with me and get me pumped up to start back on the dark side! 🥊 #thenursesjournal
Mon cœur est avec paris aujourd'hui 💔
Such a shame to lose a bit of beautiful history and original art.
Even though I’ve visited a couple of times in the last few years, this is the first spot I bravely navigated the Paris metro to on my own to meet up with my “hunchback of Notre Dame.” (Sorry for my lame joke and mispronunciation.) Hopefully, they’re able to put the fire out quick. 😢
