  • I just posted a video to YouTube of my travel journal from studying abroad in London this summer. This journal holds so many memories I made & lessons I learned & I hope you hear something that inspires you or resonates that you can take with you. This might be my most favorite video I’ve made yet, hope you enjoy❤️ & thank you @katybellotte for inspiring me to make this video, xoxo

  • Have you ever heard of Aitutaki? 😍
“Welcome to Heaven” were the first words our Bishop Cruises guide said as we docked on this sandbar in Aitutaki’s lagoon. Clearly it was not an exaggeration 😱
.....
I’ll be honest, I actually *did* think people were exaggerating about Aitutaki before seeing it with my own eyes 😅 Almost every person we met had the most incredible things to say. The receptionist at our hotel told us it was prettier than the Maldives. Another tourist told us he just came from Bora Bora and that it didn’t compare. Even locals gasped with excitement when I revealed our next stop after Rarotonga was Aitutaki!
Now I get it 🙋🏾‍♀️Pristine doesn’t even begin to describe it. It’s something you have to see for yourself!
....
🏖Heres how to visit:
Fly from Rarotonga with @airrarotonga. It’s only a 45 min flight to paradise!
Book a lagoon cruise with @bishopscruises. We did a half day which was sufficient but if you have time take the entire day! I recommend staying at least 2 nights at Tamanu Beach Resort to enjoy the rest of the island.

  • When you’re on the train between Shanghai & Beijing, writing your article on Bangkok. #Multicitytasking ✅ (Ok okayyy maybe I was staring out of the window most of the time, and sleeping. And didn’t actually finish it yet so still have to do the last bits, but hey, my vipassana told me to cut myself some slack. So, gotta listen to your vipassana. 🧘🏻‍♀️)

  • In @etihadmuseum today, was surprised to learn an Indian photographer Ramesh Shukla took some of the first pictures of the Emirates coming together and has since released multiple books of his photography about the Development of the UAE ☝🏾 pretty impressive reading his journey over by boat and even his own admission that he didn’t know how important his snapshots were when he first clicked them 🙏🏽 the museum is pretty spectacular in its design both inside and out, and tastefully curated 🙂 major props for the use of interactive tech in sharing the history of the area in a manner interesting to all ages 👍🏽 I especially loved some quiet time at the reading library overlooking the courtyard and the large outdoor water area to enjoy some quiet away from the crowds 💕 what are your thoughts in the new museum? #yallahabibi #travelerandtourist #losangeleslife

  • Even when the skies open ☔️, Milan’s Cathedral in Piazza del Duomo is impressive. Started in 1386, it took six centuries to complete and is the largest church in Italy, decorated with 3,400 statues, 135 gargoyles and 700 figures. Milan Cathedral is made up of pink-hued marble from Lake Maggiore, transported on canals. Love Italy, my favourite place in the world.

  • How familiar are you with your own process of writing? Do you see writing as a means to an end, or an activity that’s fascinating in and of itself? Do you use it as a time to explore and investigate?
✏✏✏
With a product mentality, you’re in an almost constant state of not-there-ness. With a process mentality, you can be fully engaged and learning throughout.
✏✏✏
And yes, you can pitch for process too. ☄☄☄

  • There’s truly no bad angles to a structure this crazy cool 🙂 here’s the @dubaiframe gleaming in the last rays of the evening sun and ready to put on a show as the lights turn up while the sun goes down 😍 an impressive less than a minute elevator ride takes you to the top for a walk on the magic carpet (read: glass bottom pathway) and eagle eye views of the city in every direction 👍🏽 definitely worth a visit, especially if you are a Photog 💕 #yallahabibi #travelerandtourist #losangeleslife

  • Majestic Marlborough!

I grew up in the South Island of NZ, but only ever really passed through the Marlborough Sounds.

Most of the time it was because I was catching the Interislander ferry from Picton to Wellington. I had a school camp in Year 8 in the Sounds at a place called Curious Cove, which was fun.

This month, I got to soak up the real Sounds experience on a two-night charter with Grant from @katabaticcharters , made all the more fun with my travel buddy @keegan_webster 😎

We caught and gathered fresh seafood (well, mostly Grant), and then had it prepared and cooked up on the boat right in front of us for the most delicious feast by our skipper, a chef of 23 years.

We also got the chance to hike some of the Queen Charlotte Track - which, if you can tell by this photo, is a wonderful way to showcase New Zealand’s spectacular scenery.

How would you explore the Marlborough Sounds?

  • Unless it involved a tractor of some sort you wouldn’t find me deep within the lush interior of Grenada’s mountainous terrain on the road less travelled. There are two reasons, the first being the fact that I couldn’t get to them and the second is that no matter how grown I think I am, my mother would ban me from all off-the-beaten-path adventures if she knew.
______________________________________________________________ “I cannot describe to you the blood-curdling screams that escape my body when I see where our guides go in search of the most exhilarating trails for @sunhuntersgrenada. I always have to remind them we can’t afford for them to get maimed. My mother still insists on going on every trail to make sure they’re passable for reasonably aged ladies and young men alike. So our trails are all immortal young man tested and mom-approved” - @cherissetahiera 📷@terelmphotography | @waterclubgd.
