  • The last few months I’ve been feeling a little emotionally drained with trying to prep for our new life. I can’t tell you how amazing Tanzania has been for the soul! The people here are so lovely and we’ve just had literally the best time! Spending quality time with these two has been everything! Game driving around Manyara National Park has been really easy, staying inside the park at the Green Camp made it so easy, we could go back whenever and didn’t have to leave super early with these two to see everything. We had so many awesome wildlife encounters without crazy long drives. Tanzania is one of the most densely populated countries when it comes to wildlife so it really is easy to see the big 5 and so much more!! Check out my stories from today, everything from tree top canopy walking, 7 lions chilling in a tree and exploring banana plantations! Such an epic trip by @wayo_africa and @audleytravel .. we couldn’t have asked for anything more #wayoafrica #manyaragreencamp #theaudleyway 💜 (hosted stay)

  • “Where’s the baby gonna sleep?”😴
“Where will you keep all the baby items?”🍼
These are two of the most common questions we’ve gotten since announcing my pregnancy.
- - -
There’s a counter top at the end of the bed that fits this moses basket perfectly!🙌🏼 That’s where baby will be at night and for daytime naps we’ll put the basket on the bed. It’s such an easy solution for the first several months, while we adjust to having a new little being in our tiny home.
- - -
As for baby items, we are keeping it super minimal! Other than clothing, what you see in this photo is a half of the baby’s “things”. We have donated a ton of books in our shelf area and that is where we’ll store items such as diapers, burp cloths, pacifiers, etc.
- - -
We have always been limited on accessible clothing storage but I’ve made room in 1/3rd of a drawer for the baby’s clothes. This is just enough space for the current size and the rest will be stored in our dinette for later. I love the idea of a clothing rotation system to help make sure everything in each size gets worn.
- - -
It’s surprising how much rearranging can help maximize space! We feel good about how we’ve organized things to make room for baby. I’ll keep you all updated on how this works out for us and any changes we make🤞🏼

Parents, what is one baby essential you couldn’t have lived without?👶🏻🍼 I’m down to less than 2 months and should probably get the last few baby essentials soon.

Love the bright colours in the garden. These weren’t even ‘gardens’ but it’s amazing what people can do with what little space they have!

#floransa #firenze #florenceitaly🇮🇹 #florancecathedral #italy #travelwithbaby #momlife

  • Pregnant and behind the scenes. Traveling pregnant had its challenges and perks. I wonder what will traveling with a baby be like?!⁣
⁣
I have a few things planned but I feel like we should go somewhere close first to test the waters lol⁣

  • Taking a brief pause from the New Orleans pics to show off Alexander on his first vacation! We spent the weekend in Daytona Beach, Florida and he had such a great time 💖
•
•
Unlike Florida’s usual weather, it was pretty cold and windy out. 🌬 Even though we got to do things like go to the boardwalk, some restaurants, and shops, we thought it would be the most comfortable to stay at the resort which was still a great time! 💙 We took advantage of one of the heated indoor pools (which Alexander was super happy about, played mini golf, went to the arcade, cafe, and relaxed in the jacuzzi in our room.

I loved the Club Wyndham Ocean Walk resort and would definitely recommend it for a family vacation 🖤 The staff was super friendly, the location was very convenient, and Alexander got lots of compliments and attention everywhere we went 😂 After seeing how happy and well behaved he was during our mini vacation, I’m super excited to take him to Puerto Rico in just a few days to enjoy the beach and sun! 🌞

  • At the beginning of 2020, we were talking and planning our travels for this year and we were considering to put Peru on our list. Well, we just saw it! Only that we saw it in Tenerife 😅 Because Masca looks so much like some regions from Peru! I swear I said “omg feels like we’re at Machu Picchu” more than 10 times when we were at Masca 😂
We personally saw Peru only in photos, but for those who went there, what do you think? Do these photos remind you of it?

  • Journey - Day 114
Luxor, Egypt - Day 9
Our oldest and youngest woke up just after 5am. Thankfully everyone seems well recovered after yesterday’s unsettled tummies. After a slow start (staying tucked in bed with audiobooks) the rest of the family got up and moving. We left around 11 am for Luxor’s most visited attraction, Karnak temple. ✨
✨
The airbnb’s caretaker, Mahmoud, walked us to a motorboat and we again navigated the dirt, water and sand bag bridge before walking a plank onto the boat (this time with our 1 year old in her stroller!). At the other end it was even more perilous, with no plank, lots of small rocks and a steep incline. ✨
✨
The temple complex was just across the street but getting to the official entrance took a big loop around the grounds. Entry tickets were 200 Egyptian pounds for adults but were free for our kids. ✨
✨
We decided to take a guide (150 Egyptian pounds) as at least one of us enjoys hearing about the history along the way. 😉
✨
✨
This was by far the most crowded sight we’ve visited in Luxor. There were at least a dozen tour buses lined up outside and plenty of merchants selling snacks and souvenirs.
✨
✨
The scale of the temple is awesome. Kids and adults alike are dwarfed by everything. There are amazing pillars in many of Luxor’s sights but Karnak’s are the most impressive. ✨
✨
At our guide’s suggestion we took our 7 laps around the temple’s scarab for good fortune (and saw at least one woman performing the requisite number to get herself a husband!)
✨
✨
After a few hours exploring Karnak we headed back down the pebbled banks of the Nile, onto our motorboat and ‘home.’

🍴 большую (190гр) банку со «вторым блюдом» разных производителей - Gerber, Бабушкино лукошко и пр на каждый день отдыха + 2 в запас (это наш обед);
🍴 2 пакета каш Fleur Alpine (это или завтрак или развожу с водой/молоком на ночь); 🍴 кашку «на ночь» от агуша по одной на каждый день (больше брать не буду ибо сухую кашу Fleur Alpine в бутылке разводить проще / везти проще и по составу больше нра, молоко покупаем на месте); 🍴 фруктовые патчи по 90гр по 2шт на день (это и десерт и перекус);

La respuesta es: porteando (soy mamá canguro). 🦘We have become half-tourists in the Emirates this weekend! Yes! We were waking at the Gold Souq yesterday. Many of you ask me: but Patricia, how can you travel with Martina? The answer is: front carrying (you can call me kangaroo mom). 🦘#travelwithbaby #familytravel #kangaroomom #travelblog #uae #mydubai #goldsouk #enjoyingdubai #summerinwinter #blogdeviajes

  • SUNSET AFTER THE SUN HAD SET 🌙 .

I’d rather have this view today than miserable British weather. Poppy has given me her massive cold so I had a rubbish sleep last night - although she had a great sleep so that’s a win. Feeling tired and a bit poorly today so posting holiday pics and transporting myself to a warm and sunny place in my mind 💫🗺
