When Dinosaurs Ruled The Earth 🦖
Today, on our second day on Oahu, we spent our morning and early afternoon exploring the Kualoa Ranch, a world famous cattle ranch, that happens to also be Hawaii’s backlot. Featured in countless blockbuster movies and franchises, including the likes of Jurassic Park (and World), Kong: Skull Island, Godzilla, Jumanji, just to name a few, so yeah, it’s prettttty awesome.
Could not recommend a day trip here anymore highly if you’re visiting Oahu, especially the 3 tour trip. This includes the Farm Garden Taste Tour, the Movie Site and Ranch Tour, a yummy Hawaiian buffet and to top it off the Jungle Expedition, including a fantastic hike to a stunning view point, showcasing the entire ranch.
So, in short, don’t miss it!

★ Mystic Lady, I’ve got two tickets to paradise so let the good times roll ★
Let’s talk about the day music dies. I am fully unprepared for losing my music hero. I’m fully unprepared for death in general. Trying to grasp grief for people who shaped us, through tributes or sing a longs. Don McLean wrote American Pie leading on delivering papers with the headline of Buddy Holly’s death, I locked myself in a closet teaching preschool music cause I was overwhelmed by losing Bowie. I styled this look for Marc Bolan who we lost 42yrs ago, for Eddie Money who reminds me every time I score a concert ticket I have paradise and for Ric Ocasek reminding me why I do what I do in every synth dripping line. It’s okay to be sad, it’s okay to celebrate. You may not know these people everyday but they gave you a piece of them that became a piece of you ★

After multiple visits to @denvercoliseumgemshow in the past week, I was inspired to draw a few Dinosaurs over the weekend. I’m going to have this Little T-Rex, as well as a few other prehistoric beast illustrations, available for purchase tomorrow at the @five_points_flea market. Stop by the @715club tomorrow from 5-10pm to check out some new drawings, as well as all sorts of goodies from the other local vendors!
I’ve been spending the last year wondering if I should move out of New England. Everywhere I’ve explored has been beautiful and wonderful but not perfect. No one does fall as well as New England and I don’t think I’m ready to give that up. Perfect fall days like today make up for the harsh winters and humid summers and is probably the reason most people stay.
So yesterday, Universal Studios released a Jurassic Park short film “Battle at Big Rock” directed by Colin Trevorrow starring Andre Holland(Castle Rock) and Natalie Martinez(End Of Watch). So little bit of a spoiler warning. If you have not seen Jurassic Park Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom then you might want to look away. So at the end of Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom. We’re shown that the dinosaurs now live among us. This short takes place in a park 20 miles away from where that movie ended. Now, I wasn’t the biggest fan of that movie but this short film was incredible! This seven minute short was everything that I wanted the last movie to be. Now that Colin is back to direct Jurassic World III. I have very high hopes for this movie. The short film follows a family camping in the woods when they are approached by some dinosaurs. The dinosaur begins to attack them so they have to think quick and figure out a way to survive. If you like Jurassic Park check this out ASAP and get hyped for Jurassic World 3! Let me know below what you think!
T-REX 🦖 BEACH
