Ocean vibes in Portugal 🌊
Spending some moments near to the ocean and feeling the vibes that ocean gives you is one of my favourite things, specially in Portugal during my last trip in Lisbon with @emycetviajes 🇵🇹
This place is called The Boca do Inferno and It is a unique sea-arch and cliff formation close to the town of Cascais.
The coastline to the west of Cascais comprises of high eroded cliffs, battered by the full force of the Atlantic Ocean, have you ever been there?

@benesseredelcervello #benesseredelcervello

Here’s one for the yellow army!! I know the meal isn’t the best looking but who cooks Michelin star meals every day (other than the chefs at top restaurants like @casamiabristol
Here’s the story. #mrshgc rings me and says it’s my turn to sort dinner. I’m on the motorway south from Halifax today with heavy traffic. So I pull into the services to visit the little hunters room and popped into Marks and Spencer to nose about.
Then, I found all this food waiting to be bought or lord only knows where it would be.
Here’s the maths: this full price would have cost me £17.35
I paid £5.75
I saved 66% which was £11.60 RESULT
I’m not ashamed of the yellow label. I embrace it.

Chamonix has one of the highest cable cars in the world, which links the town to the summit of the Aiguille du Midi at 3842 m. It is based on an older system built in 1920, rebuilt in the first half of the 1950s over five summer seasons, fully modernized in 1979, and upgraded again in 2008.
At the top of the picture, you can see the peak of “Aiguille du Midi” (3,842m). A unique sensational trip with a very safe and friendly cable car 🚠 leading to the highest point of Europe. Exceptionally amazing views while surrounded by high peaks of mountains 🏔 covered by plenty of snow ❄️. The view is just stunning.
You can have a rest at the restaurant and cafeteria at the top of “Aiguille du Midi” (3,842m) and enjoy the splendid panorama.
Unique experience to this magnificent place.

I missed the snow in the winter of 2019 as I was going through cancer treatment so when I finally had the opportunity to get out into the snow-covered mountains in Ireland, I went for it.
After getting stuck on a steep road with no traction, actually the car in front got stuck, we reversed slowly down for about a mile before turning and heading off to find the track here.
Anyway, it was an enjoyable venture and not too cold. Plenty of sunshine for the first part allowed me to photograph snowy scenes with blue sky.
You can see that the snowline was really in the mountains, the landscape below is completely green like most of Ireland in winter.
The Pont Alexandre III is a deck arch bridge that spans the Seine in Paris. It connects the Champs-Élysées quarter with those of the Invalides and Eiffel Tower. The bridge is widely regarded as the most ornate, extravagant bridge in the city. It is classified as a French monument historique since 1975.
The construction of the bridge is a marvel of 19th century engineering, consisting of a 6 metres high single span steel arch. The design, by the architects Joseph Cassien-Bernard [fr] and Gaston Cousin, was constrained by the need to keep the bridge from obscuring the view of the Champs-Élysées or the Invalides.
The bridge was built by the engineers Jean Résal and Amédée Alby [fr]. It was inaugurated in 1900 for the Exposition Universelle (universal exhibition) World's Fair, as were the nearby Grand Palais and Petit Palais. ❤️🇫🇷💙🇫🇷❤️🇫🇷💙🇫🇷❤️

The Verdon Gorge (French: Gorges du Verdon) is a river canyon located in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region of Southeastern France. It is often considered to be one of Europe's most beautiful. It is about 25 km long and up to 700 metres deep. It was formed by the Verdon River, which is named for its startling turquoise-green colour, one of the location's distinguishing characteristics. The most impressive part lies between the towns of Castellane and Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, where the river has cut a ravine to a depth of 700 meters through the limestone mass. At the end of the canyon, the Verdon flows into the artificial lake of Sainte-Croix-du-Verdon, named the Lac de Sainte-Croix.
