We are privileged to work with @NinetyPlusCoffee in Volcan 🌋, Panama 🇵🇦 to improve inclusivity and quality 🏆 of the sourced green coffee beans.
Since @Almallouhi points to his own experience with the CEO & Founder @JosephsBrodsky and the whole great team of @NinetyPlusCoffee in February 2018 🏞where he experienced an intense immersion into coffee at origin 👌🏼. This was also including the base for the quality that Panama 🇵🇦 Gesha Coffee 🍒 is known for.
Moreover, @Almallouhi shared details of his exciting experience where he put his hands on the comprehensive coffee production cycle starting from the soil to the cupping ✨. As a result, he carefully selected six varieties (BNP MS José Alfredo, BNP Ruby Gesha, Lycello, Perci, Juliette and Lotus) from @NinetyPlusCoffee to design the roast profiles 🌷🍌🍑🍒🍫🍯🍷🍮 @GrandMother.Coffee 👵🏻 and served @TheEspressoLab 🔬 to coffee connoisseurs 🥄 📝 and enthusiasts.

The coffee tree is an evergreen. it grow about 70 countries that offer suitable climate and altitudes. the trees are cultivated wirh care, and grow for about 3-5 years before they flower and produce fruit, know as coffee cherries.
a seed is planted in a nursery. the cherry skin and pulp is removed before planting. but the parchament is left on.
As the seed germinates, it sends out a taproot and supports itself, creating a seeding that is fondly referred to as a “ Soldier “
this soldier grow into a small tree with 12-16 leaves before it is planted in a field
the tree is left to mature for at least 3 years until the firts flowering takes place.
The coffee cherries ripen on the branch, deepening in colour , until they are rest for harvests.
Throwback to last wednesday Coffee Talk & Tasting event held at @cafegrumpy in NYC. Angèle had a great time sharing her story and tasting our Shamba Coffee produced by Terimbere Co-op in Kirundo & Muyinga province. This is more than just a simple coffee. It is also the fruit of an incredible collaboration between @cafegrumpy x @angeleciza which started few years ago.
Angèle strongly believes that to produce high quality coffee, you first have to empower the people. Along with Café Grumpy, Angèle started the Shamba Mushroom Project 🍄 - a mushroom farming initiative. This incredible project helped to provide an additional food source for the 360-member Terimbere Cooperative as well as an extra household income in coffee's off season. Using the fungus compost also helped to improve the soil quality and thus produce higher green coffee. -

I am incredibly proud 😃 of my passionate friend Patrik Rolf from Sweden 🇸🇪 @PatrikRolf founder of @AprilCoffeeCPH ☕️ for his remarkable performance in The World Brewer Cup 2019 🏆 competition and for his charming spirit 💕 with the competitors and the audience.
In fact, @PatrikRolf have grown a lot in Speciality Coffee and flourished his knowledge consistently to reach the highest levels and to be crowned as the second place in The World Brewer Cup 2019 👏🏼. Additionally, he scored as the best in Open Service criteria with his unique and confident performance. This was an outcome of his shared knowledge platform which he created to be able to engage with coffee connoisseurs and interact with them to educate them further.
I encourage all coffee brewers who are looking to compete to watch his stunning performance 👍 at the stage and follow his premium brewing standards as benchmarks to develop and succeed.
