"I’m insecure about everything. It’s why I don’t post many pictures of myself on my account. None of the pictures are good enough in my opinion or I just hate the way I look in them. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I always find myself feeling like I should be posting more on Instagram. People on Instagram seem to have something new to share every day or even more than once a day and I feel like my life doesn’t really have the kind of highlights to warrant posting that much. It definitely creates a sense that my life isn’t as great as others." #AsSheIs
Let’s look at natural wine - if you have been following me for a while, you know I’m a big proponent of natural, unfiltered, minimal intervention wine
Much, if not all, of the wine produced in the US from grapes grown here contains glyphosate - aka Roundup. Our soil is so contaminated, that every US conventional wine AND organic wine tested positive for glyphosate. Solution? Wine from Europe and other countries (I’m a huge fan of Austrian wine). Those headaches and other negative effects from wine....you may think it’s a hangover but In reality you may be reacting to the additives and not the actual wine
In addition to glyphosate, many American red wines contain a dye called mega-purple. This makes wine appear darker, richer, and in turn more likely to be purchased. Americans correlate dark wine to better wine - but if you purchase a European red you will notice how light in color it is. Every red wine in America under $15 will have this dye. Those dark black teeth you get after drinking red wine....mega-purple is to blame. It’s very sweet and adds more sugar to the wine. Unfortunately unlike food, wine makers don’t need to list this on the label, nor are they required to list 75 other commonly used additives to their wine. This all equates to high alcohol and high sugar 🤮 And just like America’s food industry, 50% of domestic wines are produced by three giant companies who use dozens of different brand names. The three companies are Constellation, The Wine Group and Gallo.
Natural wine is fun. It’s unique and often times effervescent. It’s typically lower in alcohol and has 0 sugar. It contains natural, native yeast to ferment rather than GMO yeast to speed up the fermentation process (again - more sugar if it’s sped up). And no hangovers! If you haven’t ventured into natural wine, try it! You won’t regret it!
New hair, who dis
Real question- all I have on in this picture for makeup - is mascara. I've never really worn makeup because I honestly don't know how to apply anything other than eye liner and mascara. 😂
I'm good at nit picking myself so looking at this I go "ok I could really use some makeup". I honestly would just love an even tone, and then maybe learn some other stuff because I really do think makeup is exciting. So- is it worth it? How did you learn to use makeup? What are your favorite brands? Anyone recommendations on good products to help skin tone?

Tonight it's time to start getting the Den back on track. Alot has taken place since the last time we chopped it up Denfolk. We'll discuss it live. The Denline will be open for texts and calls.
*2nd pic fully unedited*
Editing photos is a touchy subject for some so I want to be transparent as to what I do. I do not change my face shape or add any makeup, however I do touch up spots where random glitter or mascara flakes may have landed or in this first photo I blurred out some unkempt facial hair. My skin in general is a mess that I'm trying to take better care of but for the time being I do like to smooth my skin. Besides those, I play around with color levels/lighting intensity just to try to portray the makeup closer to how it looks irl since photos can become very washed out and/or dull, especially with how pale I am.

As a bit of an IPA junkie I’m not one to pass up the opportunity to try an aggressively hopped @otherhalfnyc beer, so I was pretty curious to see what this can of Triple Mosaic Daydream (10.5%) High-Density Hop Charge Imperial IPA (an intensely hopped version of one of their classic beers) was all about. It pours plenty hazy with loads of sweet, (possibly candied?), dank, fruity hops on the nose. It drinks more aggressive than the smoothest OH IPAs: it starts clean, hoppy, sweet and fruity but starts to turn mid-way, getting increasingly sharp, boozy and more bitter all the way through the finish, which is also all of those things but also kind-of dry. I was happy to get to check it out - not sure if the ‘HDHC’ will take off, but it was absolutely a more intense version of DDH Double Mosaic Daydream, so maybe it was exactly what it was supposed to be. Thanks to @the_iu_life for making the trip and grabbing cans; 4.25/5.

What did I cover today... my passion, my honesty, my truths, my roadblocks, my commitment, my daily tasks, my Sunday weekly reflection, my 90 plan, my end game vision or North Star moment, and the fact that I could be the most dedicated and determined person and still not fully show up for myself.
Here’s the thing tonight I got a huge breakthrough.
I’m the most honest and unfiltered person I know, and most of my friends probably know, and often honest to a fault.
However OWNERSHIP is what makes us!
Taking ownership of our health, our nutrition, our relationships, our jobs, our businesses, our children, our finances, our actions, our words, and literally anything else you can think of.
Tonight’s call and mentorship with my coach @tommy_resistaverage : “What happened in your Sunday reflection? It’s vague and lacks specificity, it’s not your best work.” Me: “I take complete ownership of the fact I wasn’t present and fully focused on it, I never clearly mapped out my thoughts, the words were there the description was missing and I let outside events derail me.” Here’s the thing about ownership... I own that I wasn’t clear and focused but that’s not the kind of ownership I should be having... I should in fact be utilizing ownership in my life to progressing myself so much further than I am across all areas.
Here’s where ownership counts, recommitting to the work, diving deeper, and having a clear VISION on the direction I’m headed. Especially without the variables.
That’s what I want for my team that’s what I need to focus on... because when I have a clear vision THEY have a clear vision.
I’m literally working on becoming the best leader I possibly can to help them build the life they dream of.
Why... because that’s my passion.
Seeing other people thrive in life, in happiness, in health, and in freedom is the goal.
I’m literally so thankful for our crew in ARENA, and so glad I’m on the field IN the GAME, and not section 467 with a hot dog and beer shouting what I would do if I had the chance.
Sound like something you’d be into checking out?
Let’s get you in the game I’m looking for people who want more out of life! #unfiltered
The challenge as I shifted from phase 3 to phase 4 was to write out five of your good habits and five of your bad habits.
Which column do you think was the easiest to fill?
Compliment someone else, sure no problem but turn that on ourselves and it becomes a struggle.
I am almost a year in to this coaching gig and my confidence is miles from where it was. I couldn't even imagine doing a post like this then but I still kept gravitating to recognizing my bad habits, shifting to the negative.
Seeing the good in yourself is not a bad thing, having pride is not arrogance. I'm still a work in progress but simple things like this one page in my journal are taking me one step closer.
GRENACHE VIBESSSSS 🤩😘🍷 #repost@scpannell
Leading up to International Grenache Day [Sept 20th] we're celebrating this glorious variety for the whole week here at SCP! 🍇GRENACHE TO DRINK NOW.
Having long wanted to make a wine that was varietal, flavoursome and able to be drunk in it's youth, Stephen made S.C.Pannells first Basso Garnacha from locally sourced Grenache in 2017.
My friends at #faithloop asked what's stopping you from serving in your ideal capacity? Sadly, the answer to that question is ME! I let myself stop me all the time. Because I don't look a certain way I think I should look or talk like other people talk or know as much as other people might know. I've really felt convicted about this mindset lately so this question hit me right between the eyes today. I don't want anyone to stop me from fulfilling my purpose... especially myself! So, I'm done! I am who I'm supposed to be. So here's five things about me I want to share with you.
1. I am terrified of heights..like I can't even watch a movie with heights without that pit in my stomach.
2. I've been married for almost 23 years.
3. I love musicals and old movies.
4. My favorite food is my mom's chicken casserole.
5. I can't cook.
What's a fun fact or two about you?
