You might not know where you’re going and what’s meant to be- but I promise you, love and gratitude will get you there...
I’ve always been spiritual but the journey really began after almost losing my life 2 and a half years ago. If you’ve been seconds from death you know there’s no going back to the life you lived before. Every single day becomes a second chance- every single day feels like a gift, a miracle and an opportunity. I can’t imagine what I would possibly do with my sentience every moment if not love, if not pursue divine knowledge and share it in any way I know how...the path for the past few years has been winding, taking me to childhood karma and trauma and spitting me back out on the other side just to say “you already knew that...but now you know it in your soul.” Learning cosmic truth hurts. We all talk about enlightenment like it’s magical and great and it is but my god- it is painful. It will take everything else away from you but you learn to take the trade and say “thank you” for learning some slide of hand. .
I used to get sooo mad. Especially when my PTSD was really raw. I was so upset for so long- I didn’t even feel like I remembered myself. It was rough. But every day I woke up grateful to be alive (anxiety through the roof but somehow grateful) and I found ways to speak to my soul and soothe my being. .
Coming back to social media is both strange and extremely cathartic because it’s a place where we are all thriving and healing at our own pace... and with this recent upheaval in my life- I felt it all. But mostly the love that it a part of me and you and that we will never lose and the gratitude for moving forward on my bizarre, treacherous, unpredictable and inexplicably beautiful life path. .
So cheers- to having gratitude for the good and bad and moving forward with love.
I’ve never been so content in my hot mess self as I am now. May these vibes reach you and elevate you as well fam. Namaste. .

During the fall of 2018, I did a quick tour of cities on the East Coast, and the Midwest. One of the cities I was fortunate enough to photograph was Kansas City, Missouri, and the best view of the city – in my opinion – is from the World War One Museum and Memorial. The most prominent building shown in this photo is Union Station.
Did you know that the Election of 1860 played a big part in securing the Transcontinental Railroad for America? Part of Abraham Lincoln’s platform was to construct a railroad from coast to coast. Check out the Whistle Stop Tour to see upcoming community programs that celebrate the completion of this vision. Some of the many reasons I will always love LA: loving n' snuggley niece-cousins, comedy with Geeter and their pup Zephie, gorgeous decor and architecture, and amazing piano players in historical Union Station. I don't foresee ever living here again, but it's great to visit 😎 Til next time home town! 💖
