Oh my goodness! Everything I love in one room! The plants with this vintage chair are perfection! It can get so gloomy during the winter ❄️ bringing in some brightness and greenery 🌱is a great way to fight the winter blues. @weloveplantstlv
Me conta!.

FRIDAY, FRIYAY, FRIHAAAAYYY 💃🏽❤️🌵
Gurl, this kween bawdy is R👏🏾E👏🏾A👏🏾D👏🏾Y for that weekend and will be tending to her succulents and cacti fam this weekend! Was looking at my google calendar this early morn (yes, she’s one of those gurls) and up popped my notification to water those kweens 🌵
While this kween loves her tropical green gurls, she’s also obsessed with her cacti and succulent kweens! Been doing some research on helping these kweens thrive and thought I’d share some tips that have been helpful for me! 🌵
1) While cacti and succulents love that bright light, hunty, exposing them to too much full sun can actually burn some of these green gurls. I’ve always made the assumption that the more full sun the better, but this is not always the case! 🌞 ⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀
2) Water these kweens according to the season, gurl! During the warmer months, these green gurls are thriving and drinking up much more water than when they're resting in the colder months. During colder months, I watered these kweens about every three weeks. During the warmer months, I water them every one to two weeks, and I make sure that the water is evenly soaked throughout the soil!! 💧 ⠀⠀⠀⠀
3) Soil matters, dahling! I make sure to pot all of my cacti and succulents with a soil recipe my planty homegurl @jungleinaroom hooked me up with that includes fir bark and perlite, as this fab soil concoction drains faster and prevents overwatering! 🌵💃🏽🌵
Had an awesome afternoon poking around Hendriks Greenhouses, (check out this amazing hoodie! I ❤️ swag). After touring their state-of-the-art facilities I left with more plants than I need or have room for. Can't wait to return. Today I'll show of this massive Alocasia that barely fit in the trunk! Thanks Laura, Andrew and Helen for great afternoon.
Just remounted this and thanks to @phillyfoliage for a better instruction on how to mount a fern. This guy was a bit tricky to mount as the leaf wrapped around the base. Let hope it will like the more secured host lol.
#platyceriumsuperbum (Australian) is so weird but fascinating. It looks like someone is wearing a mask! .
ANOTHER LEAF ROLL UP. But this time on my pride and joy, so you can only imagine how excited I am. It’s like my kid is having a kid. 😭 #stromanthetriostar

Because sometimes messy and unprepared pictures are just the best! Here are the plants in the middle of everything while I painted one of the walls in my living room yesterday afternoon. It took me two hours (that was the challenge I gave myself) to rip down the tapestry and paint 3/4 layers of white paint. I absolutely didn’t respect the recommended drying time but I never had and it always worked for me!! I just finished putting everything back and I am SO happy of the result!! I then had a thorough tour of the plants on the stool and discovered pests on one of them. Hopefully only one had them. She is now on quarantine and the family is looking great. My monstera got a haircut and got tied up. And I also got to (almost) finish The Georgics of Virgile. A very productive day 🌿🌱📔✨
Remember: you have until Sunday to enter my giveaway (see under my last post) 😘😘
My tiny little kitchen on watering/cleaning/fertilizing day feels so jungly. 🌱
I low key wish humans didn’t have to eat, so I could just leave all the plants there and let them take over 😂
and this isn’t even all of them. Maybe not even half! 🥵🥵🥵🥵
I probably need to slow down, because it’s a bit overwhelming at times😅
But then again, I feel really accomplished when I’m done and I do love taking care of all of my plant babies, so....I’ll probably just keep buying more plants 🙃
*just posted but reposted because I think this is a better picture!*
Hi, I’m Laura and I have a plant addiction.” Out of my 28 orchids, these two are my first phalaenopsis to bud (although they all have all started flower stalks.) This sweet miniature duo was a gift from my sister @thestanulispennies last December (swipe to last photo) and they were potted in two shot-glass sized pots. I potted them together after they finished blooming and they have filled this 4” pot! Orchids are amazing ❤️
