The #USGA has come under fire for its latest revision to the #RulesofGolf , with a number of high-profile players complaining about the lack of rapport between the #PGATour and the governing body.
To combat communication issues, the USGA has hired @jasongore59 for its new senior director of player relations. According to the USGA, the "appointment launches a comprehensive program aimed at sharing information and strengthening engagement with players in areas of importance to the USGA. These include initiatives to grow and advance the game, research critical to the game’s health and continuing to incorporate the players' perspective in its work to advance the sport."

Bob is a new client. Bob is awesome. When he was asked what his goals are, playing better golf was fourth on the list. His first goal was being able to officiate upcoming USGA tournaments by walking 18 to 36 holes a day for 4 days straight. That is his first goal.
After assessing, we found a few limitations. These 3 stretches were his first encounter with homework after DAY 1. #officialsneedtrainingtoo
1) Lat Stretch...also known as Prayer Stretch. Bob's back gets tired from walking and the compression of the spine. This is a great stretch to decompress the vertebrae and elongating the body after being subjected to gravity for long hours.
2)Twisted Lat or Twisted Prayer...literally adding a "twist" opens up a whole new plane and dimension allowing Bob to expand and rotate ribcage/thorax for even better breathing techniques.
3) Diagonal sling Hip Flexor stretch with overhead reach...extending the hip flexors periodically throughout walking his round will help Bob stay agile. The reach with opposite arm helps awaken the fascia from his toes through the entire body and out his fingers.
These are such BASIC and SIMPLE stretches...but not necessarily easy.
Day 1 was a great show and tell with a little "VERY DOABLE" homework until next time.
He was immediately taken to the sideline for concussion protocol and further evaluation.... @kylegardner124

A little #tbt to @winterparkgolf and hitting my second shot into the Par 5 - 3rd hole. It was still such an odd sensation having people running by you, cars waiting for you to cross the road, and a train that passes right by you on the later holes. Loved the experience and can’t wait to go back.
