Beautiful shot by @creation.captured
Here is a shot of a small sea cave I found while exploring the coast of California. It’s is comprised of two shots, one for the foreground and another for the Milky Way.
Recently some have said the the Micro Four Thirds system is not up to par with other full frame systems, but I disagree.
If you employ all the same techniques as the full frame user does you can easily get a great shot. For example, some say M43 can’t capture the Milky Way but if you use an Equitorial tracking mount, a longer focal length (I used 50mm) and take a panorama of the milky way you will get insane detail like everyone else (who does the same thing). Either way, hope you enjoy 😉🤙 Foreground

Beautiful nightscape by @hamishhobbs
Caught up with some of the other Ara students out doing some astro last night. Spent three hours taking the 121 images plus another four stitching it together 😬
First time using the Sigma 85mm Art lens and pretty amazed with the sharpness.
Sky - Stacked Pano -114 images -
Sigma 85mm Art
8 second exposures f/2 ISO 6400
Foreground - 7 images - Sigma 35mm Art
30 second exposures f/2.8 ISO 6400
Sky and foreground are taken at different exposures to capture more detail in each. Can't use long exposures like 30 seconds with the Stars due to the rotation of the earth, they would streak across the frame. The foreground is taken using a longer exposure to let in more light and create a less grainy image. •
Oh and that big white light is Jupiter ☀️
Prints available up to A1 size 😊

Last weekend’s breakfast views 😌 it’s hard to take a road trip up to Utah and not camp here along the way there or the way back. Shoutout to this random stranger for walking by at the right moment!
I am loving the one on one time I get to spend with this little guy now that the weather is nice!
And now that I have used this @pipibear_official diaper bag backpack a couple times I can honestly say that it is my favorite diaper bag I have ever had. And I have had a lot of diaper bags over the past 9.5 years 😂😂 It has a compartment for everything so I never have to dig around I there to find a diaper or my keys or phone. AND it is stylish! It comes in a bunch of different colors, only $33, and ships for free with Amazon prime.
Another view of Zion - this time from inside the walls : )

Often times, I’m on the fence about including people in my landscape shots, especially strangers. While doing so is an excellent way to convey scale, I feel that the practice has become so hackneyed, yet another unfortunate casualty of photography in the wake of Instagram’s explosion. #doingitforthegram
In all honesty, I didn’t even see the guy in my frame when I took the shot, so I suppose I can feel somewhat less guilty about not posing him with his back facing the camera and his arms splayed out in some moronic, asinine “V”. I know, I know. Get off my lawn and all that jazz. 🤣😂 ----------

We got a little rain yesterday so I took advantage of that and found a puddle to catch the sunset in. Have a great day everyone! 🌅
Arches National Park • Utah ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• Arches has over 2,000 natural stone arches! You might be asking yourself why am I not showing you a photo of an arch, then. Well, that's because everyone shares photos of arches and these sandstone fins are wild. Sandstone fins form because of rainwater that freezes in rock cavities, fracturing the sandstone. #NationalParkWeek

Utah has been nothing short of amazing, and is starting to feel like home. With a view like this, I wouldn’t mind being stuck here for awhile☺️✨. *scroll through the slider to see my Floss, a work in progress😂*

With landscape photography, sometimes you get the good shot and you know it, but other times you can’t help but feel like you’re walking away empty handed. I’ve also realized that if you take the photography aspect too seriously, you totally lose out on enjoying the moment. For me, it’s all about finding the right balance. 🌀📸 On this particular night I wasn’t too eager to get an awesome shot. Instead I wanted to just relax, crack a beer, and watch a cool sunset with @peter_pannnn and if by chance some cool looking colorful clouds showed up I’d be in a good spot to shoot them. So that’s what I did and as the sun went down nothing too special happened and I was totally ok with not getting a good shot that night. But just as I was justifying in my head that I could try again tomorrow morning, some crazy looking dude with a backpack on blasting music and singing to himself starting beelining it straight over a ridge in the direction of the sun, which got me thinking, I wonder what’s over there? 🌅 🌵 I started pushing a litte past where I was, testing out compositions. No that’s not quite right. Then I pushed further. Still not really that good. Ok now hiking over the ridge looks pretty doable I might as well see what’s over there. So I pushed just a little bit further, jogged up over the ridge with my gear because the light was going quick, and as soon as I got over the ridge: BAM EPIC MOAB DESERT SUNSET BEAUTIFUL COLORS CLOUDS STARING ME IN THE FACE. 😯 ☀️ I had stumbled right into a sick composition with the sunset in the background lighting up the entire desert floor. This was the kind of shot I had hoped for. With the sun nearly down below the horizon I didn’t have any time to think. I scrambled to set up my camera and tripod and was able to pop off just a couple shots. In the moment I had known that I had gotten something good, something I would be proud of. And because literally just a few minutes prior I was doubting myself and my landscape photo skills, this is the kind of photo that makes it all worth it. 🏆 😎
Tomorrow’s photo will be the last photo in my Moab series, and it was definitely the icing on the cake. 🎂 #punintended#thanksforreading
I just found out about a rare flower that blooms for one night in the desert and dies in the morning light. I thought to myself... I must find this flower. Remember when people tell you to set "realistic" goals that you define your own reality. ✌💚🙌 #girlboss#desertlife#desert#nikon
One year ago I hiked 2 miles in the dark to capture the #MilkyWay over #CoronaArch in #Utah 💕🌌✨
About an hour or two after taking this, the #Canon took a fall and the lens broke. Thankfully, I had my #Nikon to take with me to #Havasupai (where I was headed after exploring these parts of Utah). Print sales from this trip enabled me to buy a new lens replacement - so thank you if you bought this image from me! 😊💕
