Coming from the tropics, the beach has always been a part of
my life. Sea, sand, sun and sky – all these make for great
beach photography. Spending the day at the beach may often
mean taking photos of beautiful landscapes and wide-angle
shots, but don’t forget to look under your nose. Change from
wide-angle to close-ups. This perspective shift will allow
you to take totally different photos of interesting stones,
shells, sand castles, footprints, and so on.

THIS is 37. I know, it’s hard to believe😜But alas, it’s true. My 37th cycle round the sun starts today. And you know what, this fiery little Aries is HERE for it 🔥
But first a massive shout-out to the last 365 cycle: four insane months backpacking Southeast Asia with @madeandspotted, growing my blog baby, appearing on the BBC (twice! say what?), a surprise spiritual journey (yes, reiki and crystals included), dabbling in freelance and staring a new job, new blogger friends and the best blogger bestie @thesmilingfoodjournal, skiing for the first time ever, falling back in love with London, many a spin session (and let’s face it, burrito too), finally letting the past go on its merry way and feeling more grounded than ever. Thank you, 36. For everything ✨🌟💫

Celebrating Friday with this iconic shot of Banff town!
Despite having been to Banff so times already, we always manage to find new places and learn new things about this beautiful paradise. For example, it is to our surprise to know that the Bow River in Banff flows as far as Hudson’s Bay! Is there something new you recently learned about the area you live in?

“Liger” the worlds biggest cat.
Video by @docantle & @kodyantle
I don’t particularly agree with this, I think it looks un-natural in movement and size, lions/tigers usually look like agile animals, this looks tired & too large. By the way, it’s a cross between male lion x female tiger. I’m sure there’s better ways of preserving these precious animals.
Curious to hear everyone’s thoughts 💭
