Black tea latte with pearls • 9/10 • First of all, need to point out that this is different from the brown sugar pearl black tea latte, which costs a tiny bit more than adding pearls for 50 cents to a black tea latte, but I enjoyed this one more ! It was delicious and refreshing for milk tea- the perfect ratio of tea flavour, milkiness, and sweetness for me (I got 30% ice and 70% sugar). Surprisingly, although it wasn’t very milk-heavy and almost seemed a bit watered down, I still enjoyed the drink. The pearls were my favourite kind- ultra soft and slightly smaller than average. This also kept me up ALL NIGHT so beware of the caffeine.. I highly suggest ordering by lunch latest 🤩
Mango slush + Japanese roasted milk tea • 9/10 + 8/10 • This place in Burnaby is right by Royal Oak station and had super yummy food as well. The slush was flavourful and refreshing but not a super smooth, ice chunk-less consistency. There were tiny bits of fresh mango, which tasted great. The roasted milk tea had a nice nutty flavour that was sweet enough for me, although it began to dilute quickly with the ice. I wish the grass jelly has been slightly more flavourful as well, but overall still quality drinks from this place.

R: I had the Kalamaria ($24) which was a calamari platter which J was confused about lol (it has a rice, caeser salad, roasted potatoes etc). I loved the calamari plate, there was an abundant amount of food in the platter, I couldn’t even finish it. The live band was cute, it was so dark inside though but I guess thats their aesthetic. Overall great experience.
J: Stefanos is a nice place if you want to go somewhere romantic with ur date 😛. There is a live band playing and you eat in a candle lit setting. I had the chicken souvlaki platter($21) and I really enjoyed it.This platter came with rice, caesar salad, pita bread, roasted potatoes and tzatziki. Place is kinda expensive just like most greek restaurants. 8/10 🥳
Loving this retro vibe, the jam takes you straight back to the 50s and just lost in the time. Lost in the 50s (50s burger) looks like a giant time capsule just cheerfully sitting on Edmond and Canada way intersection serving foods straight from the 50s: tastes good and price good.

Finallllyyyyyy went to the Fufu pancakes 💃 and I loved it! @fufupancakecafe is the first Japanese pancake cafe that opened in vancouver, so I was pretty excited for it. We ordered the mixed fresh fruit pancake and matcha mochi pancake (ofcourse) and they both were made just soo right! The presentation of the food was just amazing. And every picture comes out soo pretty! My pancakes were so soft and fresh that I didn’t want to ruin the presentation. And they are not super sweet at all, so its soo worth the try. The fresh fruits are great choice too and they add a nice colour to the plate. My favourite would be the matcha mochi because I thought the matcha had just the right taste. I am really picky about my green tea flavours, so I knew I liked it the minute I had the first bite. The staff was also very helpful and nice! They do amazing job at making their food look and taste yummy. I also had the mixed berry soda and I don’t think you can go wrong with it. A very refreshing drink!

R: Myst pt.2 we went to get the Mango Shaved Snowflake Ice this time. I loved it. The mango was not sour which would have been my main concern. We also got some munchies too. 😛
J: We went to Myst Asian fusion for the second time because we wanted to try the mango shaved ice. This time we ordered alot more. The mango shaved ice was amazing. The shaved ice was mango flavour and the whole dessert was covered in mango cubes and mango icecream to top it off. If you love a nice mango dessert then go to Myst Asian fusion. 10/10 😛

Crab Rangoon $10- crispy wontons filled with crabmeat and cream cheese (this was SO. GOOD. ) & Thai Iced Green Tea $4 (I haven’t had this since Thailand so I was SUPER happy seeing it here 😭😭😭). We also got the Kao Piak Sen (noodle soup) $15, Tom Yum Soup $14 & Nem Khao (lettuce wraps $16 (honestly everything was really good, I just wish this place was closer 😩）
