I used to work on this super busy street. That was soo long ago prior to having kids. Now I’ve devoted 98% of my time to my boys. 2% personal time, that’s what keeps me sane 😁
📷: by the amazing @tmoromisato !! She takes such beautiful street shots ❤️
My first time seeing this view was last year, and completely by accident. Long before I'd start using topo maps for backcountry trips, when basically anything not on the trail, or pre planned, would probably end up being overlooked. I took a chance at sunrise, having been satisfied with the direction I went the night before, and decided to walk in a different direction. Then lake after lake started to appear, a total of five different ones slightly hidden from view. This was my favorite set of the bunch. Right as the first light shines over the ridge line and blasts into the valley below, and long shadows drape over the lake.

9/14/19 @ 10am-6pm: My family fabric business is now 26 YEARS OLD so we had a huge 26th Anniversary Celebration and SO MANY people came (pic 1-3)!! It was hands down the busiest day of the year for us with over 4-5x the normal amount of customers coming through in one day!
And to make it worth their while, we did a few things:
- had a rare one day only sale on ALL fabrics in our store (pic 4)
- launched our revamped website and updated everyone on the status of our soon-to-be-launched Online Store (pic 5)
- had a draw for people to win a bunch of prizes, but most importantly
- FREE Indian Chai and Indian food like pakora (pic 7) and badana (pic 8) in a huge tent outside our store (pic 6)
The number of loyal customers that came and congratulated us was so heartwarming. I had my entire family, staff, and even extended family (like my grandpa and cousins) come for the day too. Totally worth it🥳🥰❤ #thisiswhyiworksohard#26YearsOfOverseasFabrics#grateful
We finish our tour of Stanley Park in Vancouver by the famous Totem Pole, not far from the Brockton Point Lighthouse. These imposing and beautiful masts each represent so-called protective animals or supernatural creatures like the thunderbird. All these totems are the symbol of Canada's First Nations. .
