Ingredients
Dough
200 g wheat flour
200 g wheat semolina
200 ml water
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp olive oil
Filling
300 g potato
200 g spinach
1 onion
2 cloves of garlic
2 tbsp nutritional yeast
salt and pepper
• • •
Instructions
Dough
1. Put flour, semolina and salt in a mixing bowl and stir. Add water and oil and knead with the kneading of the food processor to a dough. (You can also use your hands)
2. Wrap the dough in cling film and leave to rest for 1 hour in the refrigerator.
Filling
1. Peel potatoes and chop. Cook gently in salted water.
2. Add onions and garlic in oil and sauté.
3. Wash the spinach, chop it and add to the onions. Fry 5 minutes. If you like mix the spinach creamy.
4. Drain potatoes and mash it. Put the spinach, yeast flakes, salt and pepper to the potatoes in a bowl.
5. Place the dough on a floured working surface and roll out to a longish rectangle with the rolling pin. The dough shouldn´t be too thick but not too thin.
6. Spread the filling on it, leaving one edge, brushing it with water. Roll up from the long side.
7. Use the wooden spoon to cut about equal sized dumplings. Press almost so that the filling doesn´t come out later while cooking.
8. Now cut with a sharp knife and if necessary press the ends firmly. Bring salted water to a boil and cook 2-3 bags in water for 15 minutes. The water should only simmer and don´t put too much dumplings in the pot, otherwise they stick on the ground.
9. Drain the dumplings well and sauté in a pan from both sides until crispy.
10. Serve with salad.

How often have you heard people saying "you can't change anything by yourself"? How often did the biggest influences in this world hear that they can't change anything by themselves? very often!

If everyone of these people took a step forward, they could have a very big impact on this world
.
For example, during the 24h cube of truth in Amsterdam, over 800 people came to talk about animal rights, most of these probably thought they can't change anything by themselves. At the end of the day we had 3500 people who want to go vegan because they talked to these people
.
You can change the world! You can contribute to changing the world with simple things! You don't have to go on the streets and talk to people, but if you believe in a cause there's nothing that can stop you and hold you back from being active
.

It’s been a journey and I have loved every inch of it. 
I never stop educating myself on this topic and how leading a compassionate vegan lifestyle can make a positive impact not just on my health, but to the planet, humanity and most importantly to all the beautiful animals without a voice.

I went vegan for the animals when I realised the atrocities that were carried out on innocent creatures. I watched a film called ‘Earthlings’, sobbed for 90 minutes and that was me done - and I have never looked back. 
My darling step-sister @vegandon led the way, inspired and gently poked for 3 years - I will be forever grateful 🙏

My health is outstanding!! When you treat your body with love and care it rewards you with zero coughs, colds, flu, chest infections, tummy bugs - my immune system is epic! 
My self love also comes in the form of eating super healthy as a vegan, with outstanding supplements, vitamins, minerals. Gluten free, sugar free. Mostly alcohol free (with the very odd tipple). Personal development in the form of reading/audios. Surrounding myself with positive people.  Spending time in nature each day. Network spinal analysis (NSA). Seeing a healer.  Guidance from a qualified vegan nutritionist @vegan.jo_nutrition4life 
Keeping my body moving (I don’t sit down often). Community 💕

I say this with love because I love all species - take a look at why Veganism is the biggest global movement today.  Nothing feels as good as being Vegan 🌱

  • So today Casper and Screech (the two piglets we liberated) have been away from us for around three weeks. When we first got them they were a few days old, size of my palm. They had to spend a month with us before they could go to their new home because they were not yet big enough to live with the other pigs in the stables and regulate their own temperature. When we got to the sanctuary we quickly realised that they were still not ready to live out in the stables so Pemby, my dear friend and owner of the sanctuary spent the last three weeks keeping them indoors with her. TODAY they were finally ready to live with the other piggies and hens in the stables 😍😍😍. Here are some pictures of them having the best time ever rolling around in the mud and being cheeky, carefree and hilariously cute! Totally covered in mud and exploring their surroundings as they should be doing! This is exactly what human kids do too! They play in the mud and explore! I have also added in three pics of exactly the kind of facility they would be destined to go to in around two months time to be fattened up for meat. Vegans are trying to stop other piglets like Casper and Screech ending up like the ones in the last two photos. Vegans just want ALL animals to be free. If the living situation of the pigs in the last three pictures bothers you and the living situation of Casper and Screech makes your heart smile, you are already vegan.   • ONE OF THE 12 CHICKS WE HAVE LIBERATED. NOTICE HER BEAK HAS BEEN CUT OFF THE END. STANDARD INDUSTRY FUCKING PRACTICE. 
Lately Keith and and have both said we now know what we were born to do. Investigations and liberations where possible. I now know I was born to defend the most oppressed beings on the planet. Is this something I enjoy? Not really. It is devestating to say the least, it takes an enormous toll and the emotional damage is hardcore. Even when we manage to liberate animals (which is the best feeling in the world), darkness sets back in because we know we had to leave some behind or that there are so many more that we will never be able to get to. Some have been too big to carry, some have been far too sick. Taking babies away from their mothers is one of the hardest things to do because we can't explain to them that we are saving their child/children from slaughter. It feels like a never ending cycle of pain. 
Even on a day off to ourselves we then have to deal with the world at large that likes to remain in the dark about the plight of our animal brothers and sisters. Some people even like to take the piss out of their enslavement and pain. 
Even when I do something as simple as walking through the supermarket and see animal flesh all I see are the forgotton faces of animals we came face to face with on some shitty farm. 
Vegans look at "meat" in a different way to non vegans. We see the WHOLE process not just the end product. We see that a piglet had its tail and teeth clipped off without anaesthetic. We see the mothers in farrowing crates unable to move or turn around for weeks on end. 
So even when the investigations or liberations are taking a backseat for a day of much needed mental rest, the pain is still all around us. It never ends. But aslong as the animals suffer I will suffer with them. This is now my life. My life is for them.

    Even on a day off to ourselves we then have to deal with the world at large that likes to remain in the dark about the plight of our animal brothers and sisters. Some people even like to take the piss out of their enslavement and pain.
    Even when I do something as simple as walking through the supermarket and see animal flesh all I see are the forgotton faces of animals we came face to face with on some shitty farm.
    Vegans look at "meat" in a different way to non vegans. We see the WHOLE process not just the end product. We see that a piglet had its tail and teeth clipped off without anaesthetic. We see the mothers in farrowing crates unable to move or turn around for weeks on end.
    So even when the investigations or liberations are taking a backseat for a day of much needed mental rest, the pain is still all around us. It never ends. But aslong as the animals suffer I will suffer with them. This is now my life. My life is for them.

  • This poor baby we encountered at a chicken farm and she makes me so fucking sad. When I saw her she was just staring at this wooden post. She just looked broken. I went up to her, knelt down next to her and held her hand. The birds we eat have been so gentically manipulated to grow mega fast mega quick it causes them a huge number of health problems, many of them end up with broken legs because their bodies grow so big so fast that their legs can't cope with their weight, hence why it is so common to see chickens on the floor with splayed legs unable to move. This farm was not terrible. It was sanitary and it seemed as though the farmers did their best to keep the birds as clean and comfortable as possible. I want to be honest about what we encounter. This place was better than 99% of farming we usually encounter but this doesn't change the fact that:

These individuals have no liberty.
They will never be allowed to leave the sheds they are confined in. 
They will never feel fresh air (except when on the truck to the slaughterhouse).
They will never experience sunlight (except when on the truck to the slaughterhouse).
They will never get to run in grass or be in nature. 
They will never feel happiness or joy. 
They will never be able to engage in their normal natural behaviours. 
They will never get to experience having families.
They will never be treated as anything more than a commodity.
They will never have the right to life. 
So no matter how comfortable we make any animal that we raise for food, it will never erase the fact that they are still miserable, still slaves and still only on this planet to die. They are literally being forced to be born to die.

Would you want to be in their situation? If not, then why are you doing this to them?

Makes it more interesting when considering that in his time (1856-1950) it was anything but usual being a vegiterian. George Bernard Shaw was an Irish playwright, critic, polemicist and political activist. His great influence on western theatre, 
culture and politics extended beyond his death. He was a very inspireing personality when it came to ethical affairs.He himself got influenced by Percy Bysshe Shellys (one of the early activists who pathed the way for a politicly understood vegeterism) work to reconsider his eating habits. From then Bernard Shaw admitted his prior diet as babaric and became a vegetarian. 
Bernard Shaw became one of the main english represent of vegetarism in public and participated in  the Vegetarian Society which was founded in 1847.
Around this time many vegeterian movements and Groups came across in most of the industrial countries with different justifications for a meatless Lifestyle. 
So as me who is now participating in the #veganmovement trying to justify the importance of a #veganlifestyle for our #environment but also for our #health.
