When editing fall photos it’s easy to get carried away with making those colors “pop”. A mistake I’ve made all too often. I had to resist the urge with this photo as it seemed to require a more subdued and subtle look. Hope you enjoy!

A recent nor'easter may have impacted early color in some parts of New England, but that doesn’t mean you should rethink your weekend leaf-peeping plans.
Midcoast Maine towns will still look plenty autumnal, the Connecticut hills are rapidly advancing toward peak, and the Berkshires and much of western Massachusetts are holding on to their color a lot better than areas near the coast are.
