Ordered their XL aka 🐼 bowl here at @gophogo in Garden Grove and at first glance I was like shut the pho up that biss is HUGE! As a fluent-speaking Vietnamese American I'd say I'm confident in knowing what's good pho, and, I'd say this was really good pho. But go try it yourself and see! Get their filet mignon. It's delivered fresh daily to the restaurant.

There’s a new cajun seafood spot in Fisherman’s Wharf! I stopped by randomly for lunch. I got the seafood bucket no.1 in supreme cajun and medium spicy! The shrimp and clams were good! I’ll have to come back to try the crab and lobster! 🦐🦞🦀🌶
| Back home in Vegas to farewell my sister and her family for the last night before heading back home to New Orleans, she requested some spicy Thai shrimp green papaya salad and Dungeness crabs ..Cheer!!🤤🦀🦐🌶🔥🍻| #foodporn
A big bowl of tender beef brisket pho from @hanoi_ca_phe 's March 'Deeneys Lates' pop-up at @deeneys cafe in Leyton. First time I've tried the phone, and definitely worth the wait! 🍜🍜 Hanoi Can Phe is one of the most active street food traders in London at the moment, with previous pop-ups at Craving Coffee and Bread Ahead, and now this one at Deeneys, serving Thursday to Saturday nights for March.
Watch out for a different trader each month at Deeneys, making the most of their extensive street food contact book! #instafood#popup#hanoicaphe#pho#vietnamesefood#deeneys#deeneyslates#Leyton#london#e10#londonpopups
We’re back in the kitchen and cooking this week! 👩🏻🍳 Today we’re having a classic, light and refreshing Vietnamese dish of vermicelli rice noodles topped with marinated grilled pork, pickled veggies, fresh salad and cucumber, mint, scallion, peanuts and super crispy home made spring rolls. What a mouthful! 🥗💚
Each of the restaurants in the district have altars that serve to honor and remember their ancestors. We love to see the similarities and differences between restaurants and local businesses. The most common gift is fruit, and many altars we have seen are decorated with candles and incense. Do you have an altar? What kinds of gifts do you use to honor your ancestors?

Whatever you do whatever happens dont lose your smile !! So here i Bring you some of the smiles I experienced in Vietnam all all have story behind and will write the stories below from 1-7
1. I was driving my motorbike in the mountains of North west vietnam and saw some really nice fields and wanted to get a nicer view so i went up hill dirt roads with my scooter and one there she had small shop where she had traditional clothes , just arrived there she offered me a Tea and we had a mini conversation through google translate
2. Turn right to find out about this little village where all locals kept the culture and even though all small villages next already upgraded the clothes they kept their traditions and cultures , so when i walked in front of the kids i parked my bike played jump rope with them and practice the numbers in English!
3.after a very long journey to Hanoi my bike got a flat , it was getting dark and had to repair in first place i would see ao i stop to some local and meanwhile i was waiting some guys where sitting and drinking and putting karaoke in the street , not a bar and they called me to join them eat, sing, drink and sang some spanish songs with them . They were taking lots of selfies and fb live videos too 🤣 and yeah got home pretty late with all my luggage and still had to do check in
4. So i was in Ninh Binh waiting for a bus in my hostel drawing and the girls were so curious about it and were sneaky looking ao i decided to made a drawing which i end up giving to them
5. He quit his job as driver and invested all in building a hostel in Hue , always nice to be able to chat on people like me who started from the bottom , even thought start is hard he always have keep it up!
6.i was walking to the street and i saw this guy cutting someone's hair and i said why not? And yeah walking in google translate like always and yeah he was so ncie, i was a bit challenging because i asked to trim beard and it was weird to him because Vietnamese don't normally have
7. That was my 3rd night in Vietnam the homestay where i slept was teaching local kids English so i join the class and we learned how to name the family members
I’ve been chasing true Asian flavors since I traveled SEAsia from ‘06-‘07 — from Thai to Vietnamese to Cambodian — and can’t come close to replicating them in most parts of the world (except Australia). BUT I gotta say today’s pho @madamevonyc put me right back on the side of the road, pit-stopping from an overnight bus ride from Ho Chi Minh to Nha Trang and being served my first bowl of pho by Vietnamese strangers who welcomed the northbound buses with their national dish. Amazing. 🍜🇻🇳 #vietnamesefood#eeeeeats#pho#nyc#instafood#seasia
🚨🚨Pregnancy Craving Alert🚨🚨 As y’all know Fattyfoodiesrgv are expecting a little Fatty in August. FoodieGal legit CRIED when FoodieGuy said she could not have Pho on Saturday. But don’t worry y’all he made it up to me. Pho Houston in McAllen is definitely worth my pregnant tears 🍜

When someone tells me that eating pho eight days in a row is too much, I tell them to get the pho out of my life, cause I don't need that kind of negativity 👋🏻 And FYI, pho is pronounced "fuh." 😜
Hence why I thought about asking Eric if he was over pho for dinner for the eighth night in a row, but I didn't want to risk having to say buh-bye to my baby daddy. #toorisky
Plus side to making it so many nights in a row? I've mastered the lazy girl pho. Follow along 👇🏻
What makes it lazy: using @oceanshalo pho broth, which has every single spice you will need, and is organic and tastes so dang good! .
What takes a leetle bit of work: chopping up and gathering the following for broth add-ins and pho toppings: two shallots (or one medium onion), chopped baby carrots, purple cabbage, broccoli, sliced shrooms, tofu (or another protein source), green onions, fresh basil, jalapenos, bean sprouts, limes. And of course, boiling your rice noodles. I've been using extra thin, but I think I'll use a thicker rice noodle next time.
I add a little more work to all of this because I like eating pho alongside fresh veggie spring rolls (see a few posts back for how I make them!) 🤤
Are you a pho fan? Also, happy first day of spring! I'm blissfully ignoring the fact that it snowed here in Michigan 🙃 The silver lining is that this warm bowl of pho was that much more enjoyable 💫 xoxo #blissbyris

Add all the ingredients into your blender. Blend on high for about 1/2 Minute. Now form balls and pan fry them on Medium heat until there brown and crispy (mine where a little bit too long in the pan 😅). Now put them in the oven at 220°C for about 10 min.

I would highly recommend this place if you live in the DMV area. Very quick service and nice people. The ingredients were high quality and still taste just as delicious the next day. The ratio of broth to solid ingredients was perfect. There are a lot more noodles inside than what is pictured.
Danang beats Saigon in cheap & delicious seafood that goes great with beer. I’ve been going to Quan Hai San Bà Thôi two other times before & even though it’s been two years since, she recognized me & told her server to take my order right away. Me the girl from Canada. 😂
