Happy Tuesday everyone🤗✌️
We’re excited to bring you a brand new record wall this week! We got SO MUCH content created over the weekend, and we cannot wait to share it with you all! We have more than a few new faces on the wall today! We finally received our copy of “DIAWB” by our hometown homies in @microwaveatl! Released by @purenoiserecs, this pressing is so beautiful perched on our @recordprops! One record on this wall that we are super excited about was sent to us directly by an artist. @bonniebishopforrockstar is an incredibly talented singer-songwriter with a powerhouse of vocal talent. She sent us her latest release, “The Walk”, on vinyl! Be sure to check her out, particularly if you enjoy country music! We also have one of our all time favorites on this wall, La Dispute’s “Somewhere at the Bottom of the River...” 10th Anniversary Edition. Talk about an album that’s stood the test of time for us. We have loved it for the decade that it’s been around, so getting the 10th Anniversary Edition was a must. Lots more to come this week, stay tuned✊🙌✊
Got a record on our wall that you would buy? DROP A COMMENT BELOW AND LET US HEAR FROM YA!✌️✌️✌️
Listening to Pearl Jam’s monster sophomore album, Vs. After the massive success of Ten, Vs. came out and blew everyone away, setting new sales records along the way. Vs. is just a beast — aggressive, confident, and bold. The band had things it wanted to say about the world and it said them loudly and unapologetically. It’s not a safe record at all. And the songs are amazing! I loved Ten, but it was Vs. that made Pearl Jam one of my very favorite bands.
Key tracks: I just can’t leave any of them off..... it’s a great album start to finish!

#oddcouplevinylchallenge Day 17 - WTF No Download Code?? - I have Spotify, so I honestly can’t remember the last time that I downloaded an album, so I am going to flip this category around! I purchased Southeastern digitally before I started collecting, and then purchased it on vinyl. This album needs to be listened to any way you can get your hands on it! And fun fact, it was my love of Jason Isbell and his wife Amanda Shires that got me started on this vinyl journey! #33rpm#nowspinning#vinyladdict#vinylcollection#vinyllover

I saw these guys in St. Petersburg, FL with Lower Class Brats about ten or so years ago. Seriously fun show and left me feeling like I do have a place in the legacy of hardcore.
What I loved about the Jerks is that a lot of the songs come from this place of resentment for suburbia, and that gives them a very tongue-in-cheek tone that's just straight rebellious, rule-breaking fun for punk listeners of all ages (One of my favorites on this record being "Bad Words" line "Use them on your dad"). The standout track on this album is on side 2 "Golden Shower of Hits (Jerks on 45)" where the band plays hardcore versions of top 40 hits. 😂
Hello! I’m Lacey. Co-owner of @medusavinyl and maker of all jewelry @33rpm_jewelry@bad__scooter__records thought it’d be useful for all of us to introduce ourselves and our favorite album. For me, David Byrne has been an inspiration for my taste in music and a huge influence on my art practice. As a sculptor and performance artist I swooned at Byrne’s larger than life suit which he created because “he just wanted to make his head look smaller”. I fell in love with True Stories and still have never danced harder than to some Tom Tom Club. More than anything it’s the conceptual genius. Light hearted but thoughtful and poignant. So here’s Talking Heads 77 and your gurl @thisislaceyleonard
Depeche Mode - Violator
One of my top ten albums of all time. Every song on this is incredible but if I had to choose a favorite I would have to say Policy Of Truth.

He Is Legend - White bat
One of my favorite bands of all time, Criminally underrated in my opinion. They have been releasing consistent records for well over a decade and the latest release does not disappoint in the slightest. Got the record signed at a show this summer in Richmond VA.
