Being a kid on vacation was easy. You didn’t have to spend the days before buying new clothes for your trip, you didn’t have to pack makeup and fancy hair products, and most of your items could fit into a little suitcase. I decided to go back to the good ole days and do that for this three-week trip, and it’s been the best experience ever. I wasn’t stressed before traveling, I didn’t care about snagging shots for my Instagram, and I’ve been in the moment enjoying my time with my friends and family. I’ve been going hours without even touching or thinking about my phone. Instagram has a way of causing us to act robotic with our actions. Our minds can quickly go straight to “get the shot” or “I already wore that in a photo.” I hate the way I’ve let a social media platform control me. If it’s one thing I’m going to take away from this trip, it’s that life is better when it’s lived simply. Life is better when you stop caring about how your life looks on a social media platform. Life is better when you’re doing things that make YOU happy. It’s not the new clothes and makeup that’ll bring you happiness on vacation; It’s the adventures and moments you share off of social media. I understand social media and blogging is my job, but it’s important for everyone to take a step away once and a while ♥️ For the people asking me why I haven’t been posting much on my trip, this is why😊 xoxoxox

Have you been to Kauai before? If so, what did you like the most about it?👇 Follow @hawaiis.best for more
I was SO bummed to have missed today’s #KahukuGolfCourse beach cleanup with @808cleanups, but with tomorrow’s @alohahomemarket quickly approaching, I had ten million adult-ish tasks to do 😭 I encourage you to download their app or hop on their website for a full calendar of upcoming cleanups - almost daily opportunities for cleanups across Oahu. Mahalo for doing all that you do, #808Cleanups ! 🖤
What are thoughts on @instagram hiding likes (whether you’ve experienced it or not)?
I think it’s a good idea and can’t wait to see how the masses react 🧐

It's weird. Landscapes like this always have an effect on me. They provoke a feeling of solitude and almost loneliness. But in the best kind of way. It's that feeling of disconnect. It's the feeling of being overwhelmed by what's around you and how small you really are. Sometimes it's better to feel like a small piece instead of the whole puzzle.
With hundreds of coconut palm trees, Kapuaiwa Coconut Grove is one of Molokai’s most recognizable natural landmarks and a must-see when visiting. 🌴 The grove is an ancient Hawaiian coconut grove planted in the 1860s during the reign of King Kamehameha V.

Autumn's battle with Diamond-Blackfan anemia is what led her to Make-A-Wish. She receives a blood transfusion every three weeks and each transfusion carries the risk of cancer and organ failure. During Autumn’s wish to go to Hawaii with her family, she was happy to share this experience with her brother Austin, who is also her bone marrow donor! Austin is a starting offensive tackle for @usc_athletics and he received special permission to be a part of Autumn’s wish before they tackled the bone marrow transplant together.❣️ Read the full story: https://arizona.wish.org/wishes/wish-stories/i-wish-to-go/autumn-hawaii
Everyday I wake up more and more greatful for all the opportunities the Lord has given me. This is the second time I hike the stairway to heaven and I had a blast. We started the hike at 4am in complete darkness. About three hours later We got to see the most beautiful sunrise I have ever seen. Unlike last time for the majority of the time up there we had clear skies. The entire hike was a success. Shoutout to all my friends that came through and killed it @danielle._.rae@jeremyaustiin@missangievilla@katswhatsup@theohillman@pmjg3w94@ser_keven@srparks80
