If you're heading to the west and south coasts and hill country, December to March is the best time to visit Sri Lanka. If you plan on seeing the east coast, you'll get the best weather from April/May to September.
Try to choose natural fabrics such as cotton as synthetics are unbearable in the heat. But there are no fast and hard rules for foreigners though you maybe requested to cover yourself when entering a temple. If you're planning on visiting religious buildings you're going to need your shoulders and knees covered.
Mornin’!🌻If you didn't know, the ocean, is where I belong. The waves 🌊 have this unique power to disconnect me from the rest of the world. While having my breakfast in this beautiful paradise, AND while editing my video, all I did was, count my Blessings. 😇 It was in many many many years, that I had the chance to SIMPLY BE! and even Process all the years that have gone by. Apart from work, this trip was so very essential for my Personal Growth, and to be a better human being. I hope that I could capture a vee bit of all what I felt, through this video. 😊
This, was indeed one of the best mornings of my life. .

P.S: I’m hoping you loved the sand in my slippers as much as I did.😂
Fort railway station in Sri Lanka's capital city, Colombo. 73 million people travel via this central railway hub each year. For me it was a proper assault on the senses - so much is going on in every direction, it's true organised chaos.

Chasing deer 🦌 📍Wilpattu National Park .
The unique feature of this park is the existence of "Willus" (Natural lakes) - Natural, sand-rimmed water basins or depressions that fill with rainwater. Located in the Northwest coast lowland dry zone of Sri Lanka. The park is located 30 km west Anuradhapura and located 26 km north of Puttalam (approximately 180 km north of Colombo). The park is 1,317 square kilometers (131, 693 hectares) and ranges from 0 to 152 meters above sea level. Nearly sixty lakes (Willu) and tanks are found spread throughout Wilpattu. Wilpattu is the largest and one of the oldest National Parks in Sri Lanka. Wilpattu is among the top national parks world-renowned for its leopard (Panthera pardus kotiya) population. A remote camera survey was conducted in Wilpattu from July to October 2015 by the Wilderness & Wildlife Conservation Trust. A sample of forty nine individual leopards were photo-captured in the surveyed area and the core area density was between that of Yala National Park's Block I and Horton Plains National Park.
From December 1988 to March 16, 2003, the park was closed due to security concerns surrounding the Sri Lankan Civil War, before being reopened to visitors 16 years later. Visitor access is currently limited to approximately 25% of the park, the remainder of which is dense forest or scrub. Popular visiting periods spans between the months of February and October, although there are a number of private eco-tourism groups that conducts safaris year round.
