I’m really looking forward to a summer FULL of backpacking trips & mountain summits. As much as I love all of the seasons, I thrive in the summer, it’s seriously when I come alive.
I’ve been spending the last couple of months working, planning and setting things in place so I can enjoy lots of adventures this summer in the van!
Let me know if you want to join for any adventures! I’m sharing some trip ideas in my story today 🤗
Surf on the Lunar
Nice to get back down the coast last week and watch the pastel sunsets I love so much. The ocean was so calm the entire day.

The troops being dropped off for a emergency reaction drill the background of the Himalayas. This was another of those moments I had to pinch myself to realise I was actually photographing this! My mission was to show a contemporary side to the Indian Armed Forces with the help of the @indianarmy.adgpi •
• The inspiration behind this project was one person, my dad.
He was a Pilot for the Indian Army Aviation, like most kids that age I used to feel that dad was the coolest. I mean imagine flying a heavy metal machine, in some of the most harshest environments on earth (above the Himalayas to Rainforests and deserts), performing combat training and helping out paratroopers jump of his helicopter and calling it a days work. Growing up, "G.I Joe" used to be my favourite cartoon show but I used to think my dad does all these things everyday without anyone even making it a big deal.
We lost him to a helicopter crash 16 years ago. Somewhere deep inside I wanted to highlight what the life in the army is for some of these men and women in a contemporary way. That was the inception of project: The Extraordinary. The Indian Army is known to be one of the most versatile armed forces across the globe. The project aims to explore and highlight these extraordinary men, women and machines that make this organisation so diverse, multicultural and a unique force. I was fortunate enough to be given an opportunity to photograph a few training, pseudo combat and practice sessions of the Indian Army for this project in remote bases across India.
She is my moon & all of my stars. 🌙 ✨
My pregnancy with Ellie was far beyond any human experience that you’d read in books. My pregnancy was presented with challenges and choices but it was also spiritual, celestial, magical, whichever word you want to use, I had a connection with her before she was ever born. If you’ve been following along for awhile you would know that she came to me on a summer trip to Tennessee. It was the weirdest experience of my life but changed it for the better. She is my sweet wildflower, always keeping me on my toes, constantly teaching me to be a conscious parent, to never be on autopilot or to be in survival mode. Ellie is constantly challenging me to be the mom I always imagined myself to be. There is a lot of push and pull between her and I but I know it’s because of this teaching. She is teaching me to stop trying to control every single second of my life and to let go and to be free from my own imprisonment in my mind. I cry a lot but I also laugh a lot, I love her so much more each and every single day, my little Ellie Luna 💕

Incorporating collagen into my routine because I’ve always been curious about its health benefits ☺️
If you didn’t know, collagen is essential for your skin, hair, nails, bones and joints! Basically we age sooner because our cells cannot replenish collagen as fast as when we are young so I do have very high hopes for this supplement 🙌🏻
Thank you @Brunomdofficial for making it easier for me: I just mix one scoop with my favorite drink and I’m good to go ♥️ #brunomd#royalcollagenpeptides

For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone.
Managed to just about bridge the gap between horrific rainstorms with a photo feature of Bristol’s Clifton Village - and realised that since moving here I haven’t once visited the city’s most obvious scenic point at the Clifton Suspension Bridge. Cue immediate distraction while I tried to work out a way of literally behaving like a chimp around it.
"You will never have this day with your children again. Tomorrow they’ll be a little
older than they were today. This day is a gift. Breathe and notice. Smell and touch them; study their faces and little feet and pay attention. Relish the charms of the present. Enjoy today, mama. It will be over before you know it.” ~Jen Hatmaker
What a year it has been:)) Planning a wedding, getting married, once again forcing my stage-fright prone self to perform at company feast events (I always hate myself for signing up, but it’s rewarding to find with each performance, calming the nerves gets easier)... And I’m so excited to tackle the next!
Goals for myself:
* Learn new baking skills
* Move to US (finally) and settle with the husband. Then get our puppy!
* Learn 3 new violin and piano songs that are harder than I’m used to
* Create 3 new artworks so I continue to practice new techniques
* Learn new photography skills and take lots of pictures
* Read 10 books
